NFLN and it isn't even close. To take that another step, I watch with the TV muted and listen to Norm on The Ticket. I started doing that a long time ago and am sooooooo glad I do. There is a night and day difference in the draft coverage. It's nice to get all the new Cowboy player interviews, coach interviews and general info and insight regarding the Cowboys throughout the draft. Especially in the first 3-4 rounds Norm and the gang are really good at letting you know which players drafted the Cowboys interviewed or visited or were really interested in. I recommend everyone follow the draft this way and I know there a number of others that do also.

This post applies to me as well.

This, and Mayock on NFLN as stated by BD. Mayock puts Kiper to shame on projecting specific players to teams, even very deep into the draft. Works to have Mayock muted (captioned) as well (that lisp can grind your teeth over time). Mayock is very talented at his craft.

What television network do you guys watch for the NFL draft and why?

NFL Network all the time. There analyst are wide ranging and they appear to try and give more people a voice. They don't seem to have too much of an agenda.

The sad part is, those are the only two options. I can't really stand watching either one for very long these days.

Here is what I noticed a few years ago once I started to follow NFL front office people on Twitter. ESPN is flying by the seat of their pants on draft day. They are clueless. Twitter has the picks @ least 5 minutes before they announce. Then ESPN has the gall to spin this as they are the leader in...inside info. As I've gotten older...I've noticed their effort for the draft has become less and less hardcore....and basically generic. If someone could post a link on draft day to Norm that would be awesome.

Oh yeah, and I can't stand Chris Berman. His schtick sucks and it should have been shelved a decade ago.

I cannot stand what ESPN has done to sports over the last decade on TV and especially the radio. Easy choice really.

I would watch NFLN if they didn't spoil picks like crazy, ESPN at least stopped doing that last year which was nice but I'd rather hear Mayock over Kiper.

I like being surprised, don't like seeing them on the phone or celebrating in their houses before the pick is announced, maybe that's just me. I wonder if NFLN will do it now also?

We cut some channels on our cable...wife told me NFLN was one of them...oh well.

I guess I could watch it streaming but I don't think I will.

So although I would rather have NFLN on, looks like the TV will be on ESPN this year.

Was going to listen to norm this year but I might just stick with the War room cam this year where they have the fan broadcasting live with some guys doing it at valley ranch. I think that is what I heard on one of the shows last week. That www.dallascowboys.com will have the live war room cam going and you also stream the fan while it is running.

So I will probably have the tablet or laptop on that and viewing the forum with the other.
