Taking into account production and age but not salary, I would say:

1. Felix Jones
2. Clinton Portis
3. Brandon Jacobs
4. Byron Westbrook
5. Marion Barber
6. Derrick Ward
7. Ladell Betts

Westbrook is the best right now, but this past season wasn't up to his usual standard, he continues to get injured, and other than Betts he's the closest to 30 years old.

Barber for me. I love the way he runs.

I do however acknowledge Westbrook and Portis as the two best right now.

I don't care for Jacobs. He runs too soft for a man that size. If he ran like Barber he would be the best in the NFL.
