If you have a QB the caliber of Brady with his proven history, I won't fault you for running an empty set because that is what they do and have proven that they can do it time and time again consistently

Otherwise, just run the darn ball

I bet even Bellichick would have run the ball there even with Brady

Patriots ran a ton of 11 personnel. They rarely didn't have a back in the huddle. They would have White shift out wide sometimes but he was almost always out there which makes the defense assume run and then have to adjust

Fun fact: Tom Brady is the only QB in NFL history with a winning record when throwing 50+ times in a game. He's 18-9 in those situations. Everyone else is .500 or worse. He is literally the only guy who can abandon the run completely and consistently beat people.

Superbowl had to be scripted.

A total football moron could've closed that game out for the Falcons but they managed to do the .3% that it took to lose? Yeah right. It's rigged. Has to be.

This is silly.

And people are making too much of the win % numbers people keep throwing out there. It's a guesstimate based on how average games go. But in an average game one team doesn't run twice as many plays as the other, for instance, which is exactly what happened in the Super Bowl.
