Which non-QB position would you play for Dallas if you could?

Which non-QB position would you want to play if you could? (on the Cowboys' current roster)


Would you want to play safety for the Cowboys, and stop opposing offenses from converting all those 3rd-and-longs? Return interceptions for pick-sixes against the Giants', Eagles' and Commanders' quarterbacks?


......Be the dominant pass rusher opposite of Ware that the Cowboys have needed for so long, and drastically increase the defense's sack totals?


.......Be the Cowboys' No. 3 wide receiver, after Dez Bryant and Miles Austin?


........Be an offensive lineman? Inside linebacker?

You still have to block 260, 300-lb people coming at you at full force trying to break through in order to block the kick. It's not as physically easy as being a kicker or punter.

I'd say a WR, but I don't want a "glory position..." even though there are some CBs and LBs out there that get glory.

Dropping a pass as a wide receiver must be an absolutely sickening feeling. Hard to even imagine such a feeling after a pass from your quarterback has hit you in the hands, when you're wide open, in front of 80,000 people (and millions on television).

Show you how old I am. I was going to play for Red Parker when he was at the Citadel. Went for a visit and everything was great until I saw them eating a square meal. Well, that was the end of that. Red went on to coach at Clemson. I never got to play college ball although I got used some there. I did play semipro for awhile.

No one is allowed to line up across from you, so at best you're chipping someone or helping on a double team. The actual skill involved in being a punter or kicker is infinitely more difficult than being a deep snapper.
