Which of these 3 options would you take?

1. Trade serious capital for Crosby or Sweat, sign Wagner and pickup an OT after roster cuts
2. Trade serious capital for Brooks, sign Miller and pickup an OT after roster cuts
3. Sign Miller and Wagner and trade serious capital for a proven Starting right tackle

I believe I would choose option 3.

If Dallas can't get it done with Dak, that means they're probably 5 years away, so these guys will be gone by then anyway.

Might as well try to build a top 5 defense right now. It'll take that with for this offense in the playoffs.

I would bring in Von now and look for a swing tackle on cut down day. Don't want to give up anymore draft capital. I could be convinced about bringing in Wagner.

I wouldn't trade serious capital for Sweat, but Crosby is a great consideration.

I believe I would choose option 3.

I’d chose 1. Get me the edge rusher. I don’t think linebacker is going to be an issue and if it is I don’t think Brooks fix it. It’s going to have to come from within.

I could get behind Miller in a specialist role. And I’m a Sam Williams guy or at least someone who wants to see him this year but if it came down to him or Miller I’d cut him for Miller.

It’s about to catch up to them as they have little draft capital for the new few years. There no 1st pic until 28. Next year, they have 1 pick (a 2nd rounder) in the first 3 rounds.

The Cowboys have already made a few "big" roster moves and with new coaches perhaps it would be best to see the roster in action before deciding where to alter it

Agreed. I think the Oline is a bigger risk than either pass rusher or LB right now.

Wagner is still well above average, if you can get him off the field on passing downs.

I respect your take because I love adding talent to our team but if said player is just a 1 year expensive rental id like to make sure that it happen in the year we truly compete.

some of us would like to see this happen when the defense has proven it can at least be average however aquiring guys in their prime and long term is always a must
