Which of these 3 scenarios would you choose?

Which of these 3 options would you take?

  1. Trade serious capital for Crosby or Sweat, sign Wagner and pickup an OT after roster cuts
  2. Trade serious capital for Brooks, sign Miller and pickup an OT after roster cuts
  3. Sign Miller and Wagner and trade serious capital for a proven Starting right tackle

I believe I would choose option 3.
Or don’t trade serious capital

None.

All involve trading serious capital. I am totally against that. The Cowboys aren't one player away. And don't forget only 5 picks next year in a good draft class.
Agree. Draft capital is so important in managing the cap. And get good young talent

You're going in a different direction. I'm not debating weather some teams wants to draft the next Brady or not. It's an example that the odds are slim to have that happen
IE trading away high-end draft picks/players for other players is always a gamble. More so when the team isn't a for-sure 100% SB contender.
They are even more slim today than they were 20+ years ago.

3 passes the test

The exact opposite. We aren't one player away.

Considering the draft class next year, we need more picks not fewer.

Guys acting like we can add here or there will push this team to a championship this year and that just isn't true.
One player gives us a chance right now.

We have tried and repeatedly failed to build through the draft for generations. You guys want us to keeping doing what hasnt worked.

A guy like Max Crosby gives us a legitimate chance at a championship right now. And thats coming from someone who isnt wired for optimism

We've been doing it lately.

We don't have Stafford, but they're fully invested in Dak. Gotta go now. Dak is 33 going on 40.
Signing Dak did not include trading draft capital.

Gotta completely disagree with you on this one. IMO this FO is very risk averse.
