Which one player are you rooting for most this season?

Of course we’re all rooting for our entire team to have a great season, but which single player would you say you’d most like to see have success this year?

For me, it’s Tyler Guyton.

Left tackle is one of the key positions on any NFL team. If you have a good one, it goes a long way toward having a successful offense.

And I think the young man has been working hard to develop and improve. I’d like to see that work pay off for both him and the team.

If he becomes the player we all hope, I think the offense can reach new heights.
Guyton, Overshown, and Ezeiruaku are all guys I'm pulling for to have big seasons because they all can be season changing contributors with breakout years.

The Cowboys also need to have a great season from the player who plays the most important position which is Dak. Would love to see him backup the Super Bowl is the goal talk. The fan base has been divided on Dak, but we all know his success is critical to team success.

Excellent post.
I agree there could be some extreme team success (like at minimum a CCG for example) if these choices all had huge individual years.
ALL are pivotal to achieving a deep playoff run type of team success.

Outstanding choices man.

Guyton as well for myself, then Dak.

We need Dak healthy all year. That means OL has to keep about its feet.

Another would be Steele. So many times, I saw Dak under duress from that side.

Tyler Guyton and either Ezeiruaku, M. Lawrence, or R Gary.

The people who throw the ball, protect the blindside of the passer, and can sack/rusher the passer are the highest paid, most important people on the football field. Now the DT is getting there because they can be a disruptor with the shortest path to the passer.

So I want big things from Guyton and the Edge.

Jayden Blue.
For all the flack he has taken from fans in here the past year.
I would like to see him step up. And be factor in the offense.

Caleb Downs.
To become a feared defensive player type that sets the defense apart as they improve into a top 10 defense. Though that may not happen this season.
Shotty has to figure out to get him involved. He needs 6 to 8 touches a game.

Day 1 Cowboys Training Camp Standout

Jaydon Blue: Speed Kills!

• A 45 yard TD run.
• A screen pass that went for 45 - 50 yards.

Guyton is easily the one I worry most about. Hopefully he pulls it off or big Nate can secure that spot for us.

Outside of LT, I'd say linebacker is the scariest position for which we have question marks,,, we seem to be light at that position, literally. No heavy hitters save for Barham and the second year guy Shemar James. Hoping they bring it!

Brandon Aubrey was robbed of league MVP two years ago, hope he finally gets it this season, becoming the first K to do so since Mark Moseley

Yes your right T Guyton
Rookie: Barham

Guyton, EZE, Blue and Trigg. This team will be greatly improved if these guys have good years
