Well, from the article from yesterday I posted, they're talking about the present with cost estimates for Micah, not what it wouldn't have cost in 2021, indicating he'd have to buy up all unsold stock, so either the article is incorrect or the rule was only for one year because of the pandemic, there would be no need to indicate the cost to the player to change his number if the rule no longer applies...
