Along with the usual suspects like Ware, T.O., Thomas and Hamlin I have to say Spencer, Adam Jones, Sam Hurd, Amendola(I think he sticks) and Colombo to name a few.

Which players has impressed you most thus far?

It's really impossible to tell right now.

I haven't seen anybody on the field. I'll have to watch the PS games closely.

I do like what I'm hearing about Felix Jones. I'll admit that I was whining when we drafted him. But I must admit it appears that we had a plan for him the whole time.

Every report.....from King to Wade to Witten have all praised him. It's going to be fun watching him.

i havent watched any practices, but I hear felix jones, mike jenkins, orlando scandrick, olgesby

i just talked to a credible source, and he said olgesby keeps making plays, thats what key playmakers do make plays, he is the other cb

i hear that joe berger is moving up and stanback is looking good along with amondola

i keep hearing a dark horse maybe todd lobher, i think i spelled his name right, he is 6-3 205, 41 inch vertical leap, and 4.34 in 40; and he keeps getting open deep, he has deep deep speed,

of course i hear that anthony spencer and bobby carpenter are making plays too, these are the guys that you hear little about;

i hope amendola sticks around

Why? Do we keep 6 WR's when we are deep at DL, OL, LB,CB and Pacman on returns?

Amendola is the local guy getting way to much homer love. And will be cut here......

2days practice had a lot of 11on11 n 7on7. Danny boy wasn't much in fact I don't even recall a ball his way. DL 64 woke up practice with a hit on free or kosier then let the whole world know about it by s creamin something in vain. The guy who looked good was Tony but I think his apparent increased velocity on the short stuff will invite more chances like the one Bobby got today... But Romo looks awesome n should break all his records next year.

I gotta agree with you on this.

I would love to see Amendola make the team because he's a great story.

But....

I don't think we need to keep five WRs. I would rather see us keep extra and extra CB, S, or DL.

Would folks rather see us keep Amendola over Oglesby, Watkins, Brown, or Dixon? I know everyone wants to keep what's best for the team, but I don't see Amendola having the impact of those guys I mentioned.

And I don't think he'd see any time at WR. How often does a fifth WR play? He'd have to become a heckuva STs player to make it. I don't see him being better at that than the fellas I mentioned.

I don't think he's better than Hurd, Austin, or Stanback either.

If we keep six, he'll make it....Right now, I think keeping an extra CB or S would be better.

But there's a lot of PS left. He may shine in the games.

No, Amendola is playing well. If he continues he will get a roster spot.

It's good to hear that Oglesby is stepping up. It just means that we will be that much deeper at the corner spot. W/Jenkins, Scandrick, and A. Jones also looking good, plus the incumbents, we will have the best corner group since the mid-90s.
I heard Phillips talking about the improvement that Carp has shown from last year. Has anyone seen much of him?

A few days ago, several media folks were talking about Felix Jones - how quick cutting and fast he is. Nothing unexpected, but fun to hear anyway.

I'm optimistic that he'll be impressive when he does play.
