I think we improved DE not just getting Hardy but high expectation out of Lawrence and the addition of Gregory and Russell
CB I think will be improved with Byron Jones being added to the group
LB With Lee, McClain and Hitchens I think that group will be very good and depth looks pretty solid
OL addition of Collins and Green at the very least gives us depth and chances are 1 starter in Collins.

Just re-watched the playoff game versus Detroit...how it the world did the Cowboys defense keep the game within reach? The LBers were a hot mess, I was left shaking my head. The d-line was bad, Patmon at times looked like the best CB...

The entire defensive unit is improved, even just returning injured players will help so much.

The "one" position? Linebackers...I think.

Haha, yeah. That's why I was curious why there were those that were perturbed at the influx of LB's this offseason. I'm pretty sure ol' Cam Lawrence was getting abused that game, but I was enjoying mas cerveza's so I wasn't paying that close of attention.

Back to the topic, DE is improved the most, but the whole front 7 is going to benefit a ton with this offseason. A pretty hefty pass rush at End, and some worthwhile LB depth for what seems to be the first time in about forever, and our front 7 is actually looking mightily improved this season

Other. TE.

In this copy cat, reactionary league, after this year's Geoff Swaim Experience, I think you'll see 3 or 4 TEs go in the top 10 picks in next year's draft. Good luck finding another though. ~war room high fives~

DE. We took our biggest weakness on our entire team and made it a strength.

Potential strength. We don't know how much Hardy will play this year or if he's one and done at that. We also don't know how well Gregory can transition into the pros. We don't even know if Lawrence can take the next step yet.

Potential strength. On paper, no doubt.

Just can't help yourself can you?

yeah, it sure looked like they Loved the pick :p

It appears to be DE, but those are unknown. I think it has to be LB. Lee is back, Ro here another year, and Hitch another year. Plus we got veteran backups. Looks very strong as of today.

I'm not going to narrow it down to a position, so I'll just say the front 7 on defense.

Our offense is already stacked and I think they'll be one of the best, most efficient offenses in the league again this year.

That front 7 though, they'll see some immediate improvements. Lee returning. Lawrence's expected growth/development. Obviously the addition of Hardy. The drafting of Gregory. Some more growth/development on Hitchens part. I would've liked to see us get a little better at DT, but the additions at DE and improvements at LB should be sufficient. Our secondary should perform better as a result, and the addition of Jones back there is almost like a bonus, considering everything else. Our defense should make another leap forward this year.

Very excited about this season.

Detroit took TE in top 10 last year

All of this is "On paper."

It's June 1st.

Live a little.

Ya and besides we have ends that can slide in at tackle. I think Crawford takes another step forward and our ends will have to be accounted for so DT should be able to get some push

Defensive Ends on the roster who did not play more than 10 regular season games last year.

Demarcus Lawrence
Greg Hardy
Randy Gregory
Ryan Russell
Ben Gardner

I believe that 5 out of our 6 defensive ends are going to basically be entirely new players.

I think that tells you a lot about our defense from last year and a lot about the transformation our defense has gone through in just one year.

I don't think anyone in there has been there for more than 2 years.

2014
Jeremy Mincey
George Selvie
Anthony Spencer
Demarcus Lawrence
Jack Crawford
Lavar Edwards
Kenneth Boatright

2015
Greg Hardy
Demarcus Lawrence
Jeremy Mincey
Randy Gregory
Ryan Russell
Ben Gardner
Jack Crawford vs Kenneth Boatright
