Who would you rather have Henson or
David Greene selected 12 picks after the one we gave up to get him or
Kyle Orton or Stephan Lefors both selected in round 4?

Greene or Orton. Orton looks better right now but I've been a Greene fan for some time, which doesn't mean much BTW.

Going only on the few games I've seen on TV, I think Orton looks the most like a real NFL QB.

None of the above. Lefors is too small, Orton too streaky(he benched twice in college for a number of games and Greene is way over-rated(can't win the big game and Henson is bad baseball player and an even worst football player.

It doesn't matter, as soon as any one of them throws a bad pass they will be called a bust. A young QB is now expected to be perfect or else it means he sucks, will never develope into a good QB, and no matter how gifted and succesful in college you don't get time to learn and improve. At least on these message boards anyway. Good thing Alex Smith or Phillip Rivers don't play for us, we'd have to debate cutting our losses.

:hammer:

I'd much rather let Henson develop. Parcells must be very pleased he's not going to have as much pressure this year to rush Henson. All of the rubes who wanted him to start last year over Testeverde have finally gotten bored with him and want him to be cut. :lmao2:

Kyle Orton, but I'm a Big 10 fan and I got to see alot of him in college.

He was just named the Bears starter, so we'll be able to judge better over the next several weeks, but I bet he does real good for the Bears.

I'll bet he doesnt do real good for the bears. In fact, im willing to put money on it.

Rookie QBs always suck. Hell, 1st-round draft picks suck in their first season, a 4th rounder is going to be absolutely lost. And before any of you say Ben Roth or Dan Marino, thats 2 out of how many?

I'd rather have Orton out of Orton, Greene, or Lefors. I don't think Greene or Lefors have NFL skills. Orton does, but has bouts of inconsistency.

I feel sorry for Orton, he's in for a lot of hurting this year. It still looks like Henson has the best chance out of those named to be a quality starter.

I haven't gotten to see much of Orton play, and all I've seen on Greene was when we played Seattle (and I wasn't that impressed, but he is a rookie, so I'll give him a bit of a pass), but I've gotten to see Lefors play here in Carolina, and watched him play at Louisville once in a while.

Granted, it has only been against 2nd and 3rd team guys in preseason in games 1 and 2 (only Delhomme and Weinke played in game 3), but Lefors is just one of those guys that has something about him. Everyone knows about them trying to replace him at Louisville, but nobody could ever take the job from him. He seems to be a really bright kid that could do something if ever given the chance to play, like in an injury situation. I don't ever see him getting the chance to be the #1 guy, but with a couple of years experience in the league, he could be a serviceable #2 guy.

I'd like to see him do well, and it seems like he has become a bit of a fan favorite here in Carolina, as well, some due to his family background, but because of what he's done in games to this point, too.

I'll stick with Henson another year over those guys they are no better despite no layoff from the game

We would have had people calling Duante Culpepper a bust because he didn't play his first season.
