He's doing great on that side, being a rookie. Better than anyone could hope for. I hope he stays with us for a long long time.

Petitti, have to go with him just because I had hopes with everyone else. He just kinda came out of nowhere and is playing great.

Considering where they were drafted (or not drafted in Thompson's case) it would have to be Rob Petitti and Tyson Thompson.

But the questions is just who impresses me the most so it has to be DeMarcus Ware. The Cowboys have the next Charles Haley. The next Dwight Freeney. Those guys are not easy to find. Ware has some freakish talent, and it's very scary how he already has 4 sacks only 1/3 through his first year. He has Hall of Fame potential if he avoids injuries.

Impressed when? From the start of training camp it has been Ware and Tyson. Now i expect them to do well in every game. Canty has impressed me since the Washington game. Spears has been a flop so far. Pettiti really hasn’t impressed me to be honest. But I think he has done a pretty good job for a rookie RT. Barber impressed me last week, nice hard running.

The rookie I'm the least impressed with so far has been Spears, especially when you look at where he was drafted.

I have to go with Rob.

This is a guy that was a lower round draft pick, truth be told he was probably not expected to be a starter but only for depth at least for a season or so.

But he is sitting there as the starting RT.

All things considered I think he has done a great job.

I expected ware to do well and I expected him to be a starter as well...so I am more impressed with Rob considering his draft slot and him starting.

I voted for Canty. I think he and Ware have played the best of the rookies so far. What impresses me about Canty is he's so well rounded. He can 2 gap and still get to the passer or stop the run and occasionally he can speed rush to the outside.

I say Pettit. As staed before, the position he was drafted at. And now starting at RT and doing a solid job, with or without help. Yes, Ware has been extremely impressive, but he was expected to do what he is doing being a 1st rounder and 11th overall.

After Pettit, I say Thompson for the same reasons. Spears has not played enough I don't think to say he is the least impressive.

I have to say Ware... because he leads Cowboys in sacks... that's suprising... I won't be suprised if he breaks the sack record this year

I'm pleased with all of them and think these guys are just going to get better but if I had to pick one that I think will become special it would have to be Ware. He is still making some mistakes but I think he is going to be one of the top NFL players as he gains experiance

Just because he was drafted high does not mean his play has not been impressive.

I don't know where all this, "...because he was drafted so low..." junk. The question was, "Which rookie impresses you the most so far?" The answer has to be DeMarcus Ware. Not only does he lead the Cowboys in sacks, but every Outside Linebacker in the NFL! He will probably not only end up DROY, but go to Honolulu as well. Which other rookie can we dare say that about?

Ware on the other hand, does everything himself and not only does he get pressure and sacks and tackles, but he draws double teams and makes everyone else on the defense around him that much better
