Which Safety do you want to be drafted?

At 44 I would take Grant, Moehrig, or Holland (in that order)
At 75 I would take Molden as a safety convert
At 99 I would start considering Washington if we didn't already have a safety but would be tempted to wait until the 4th

Not a fan of the strong safety types with Wilson and Neale already on the roster.

at 44 there is no way Moehrig will be there BUT both Grant and Holland may be there or at least one of them

I'd love Moehrig, but you would likely either have to trade back into the first to get him, or be higher than 44. Taking him at 10 would be a big time reach. At 44, Holland would be my preference over Grant. A guy I would keep an eye on later in the draft would be James Wiggins.
Isn’t Wiggins more of a box safety?

I think he can do more than that. He had four picks in his year as a starter in 2018, and should be fully recovered from his knee injury in 2019. He ran a 4.44 in the 40, had a 38 inch vertical and a 10'7" broad jump. More than enough athletic ability to be a single high.

Moehrig looks like the best of the bunch for deep safeties to me. Grant is a great box safety prospect but I think we are good on box safeties between Wilson and Neal.

Someone to keep an eye on if they miss out.

Grant can play either spot, but he is more of a deep, centerfield safety. He has more experience at the position than all three of the top prospects at the position.

I know I am cheating but If we draft Surtain I would go with a ball hawk like Holland because Surtain is less likely to blow his assignments. If we draft Horne I would go with Grant because he is older and experienced. Moehrig I am just not that impressed with.
Surtain is a very good shadow corner, but not an elite ball hawk like Diggs. We are going to need another playmaker back there. Do they go with upside in Holland or the high floor Grant? Think Moehrig is going to take a trade up.

Would love to trade up into the backend of the 2nd to get Holland. Wouldn’t mind taking him in the 2nd but might be able to trade up using a 3rd and 4th. If you look at all the pre-draft analysis of 2021 prospects that always comes out after the previous draft, Holland was considered a top 20 pick. What changed - he opted out.

If Morehig is available at 44 I’m good, but please don’t trade up for him.

I think Molden is more than capable of doing the job and would be happy with him at 44.

Grant, Holland, and Johnson are all pretty similar grade wise to me. Don’t want any at 44, but 75 is good value. Johnson and Holland preferred over Grant

Moehrig - 25-44...I don't care where we get him..just go get him...I'm trading 44+75 for him all day

J. Holland - 44..ehhh don't love it..but I won't hate it..75 - yes please

Grant - 44 ehhh don't love it either..but I won't complain

A. Washington 99 or 115...absolutely

I'm gonna take it from 44 onwards so I'll rule out Moehrig, I don't see us trading back up.

I'd be happy with Holland(44) , Cisco or Jamar Johnson(75+)

Holland and Im not a big fan of those who sat out but he is so fluid and can return punts too.

Moehrig 25-44
Grant 30-55
Holland 40-99
Johnson 60-115

I'm intrigued by the thought of converting Molden/Washington as well. But that's only if we use the early picks on other good defensive players and get wiped out but can grab one of them 75 or later, which I doubt.

I think Molden is a slot/nickel corner only guy.
