I actually like the 3rd scenario the best.

Both Oakland and NO are talented teams that have played way below thier potential.

I still remember the stomping that NO gave us last year at the end of the season. Everyone was surprised except the NO head coach...

Both of these teams have under achieved and now have no pressure on them. They will also be playing for pride in thier last game of the season and will be looking to be spoilers.

with Ratrick Pamsey likely to get the start in Philly, the Pie's chances just got a lot better.... :(

A tie and Washington loss: The Cowboys haven't had a tie since 1969

That's why i wish they'd take out the "ties" in these scenarios. Just adds to the confusion.

All I know is: I'll do what i do every Sunday. Hope for a Commander loss. :)

Almost had a tie in the Tampa/Atl game, it could play a part which is why ties do factor in.

Amazing.
Most of you think Atlanta beating Carolina is our best chance (6 to 1) over Washington but I completely disagree.

The Panthers are coming off of a tough loss and are playing for chance at their division.
But Washington is playing a Philly team who gave the Giants a good game 2 weeks ago and haven't won but 1 game in 4 weeks. Philly is also 0-5 in the division so they are way past due. I realize Philly sux but if Washington has a new QB playing in Ramsey and is going to hostile Philly for the season finale, I think Philly wants to end on a positive note and gives us the best chance to make the playoffs. Washington is due for a loss anyhow. They are playing way over their heads right now.

So don't fear when the 12:00 games are done and we're still not in.
Our best opportunity still awaits, IMO.

Look at how well Philly played NYG. Washington is due to lose one. Philly wants some say in the division. Players have personal stats to fulfill. Some have jobs on the line. While the odds of any one scenario are unlikely, the odds of one happening is probable.

Exactly.

The reigning NFC CHampions can't go 0-6 in the division can they?

I agree. I also think it is important for both Alt and Philly to get off to quick starts in their games. I fear if either team falls behind early in the game they would be more likely to lose interest in the game and start thinking about the off-season. I think if either team gets off to a fast start they will make a real game of it.

HAHAHA! good one! we are actually playing really good football as of late but i wouldn't call it over our heads. hitting our stride is more like it. ever since we switched to a power rushing attack, we have sliced opponents up because...
- the power running gives our D a breather and is able to maintain a high energy level through out the game. which is needed for the aggresive style of Williams playcalling
- Griffins return on the inside has been HUGE
- has opened up the field for Moss and Cooley. when you can make a 3rd and 6 running the ball, plus have a speedy guy like moss stretching the field and Cooley sneaking somewhere in between it makes it tricky to defend.

we will not be scoring 35 every game, but these last 3 games were not flukes, and id be the 1st to say if they were. they have been solid football games around the board and i can see us having similar success in each game provided we stay healthy...but like i said...Pamsey changes things completey!

best chance is def. ATL beating CAR...atlanta hasnt had back 2 back winning seasons right? they'll be motivated and players will be playing for incentives in their contracts and stats as well. ATL has won 9 out of the 10 last meetings @ ATL. GO FALCONS

I chose Washington losing to the Eagles not because of anything solid but mostly just because I want that one to happen the most.

I do think that with the way this season has gone that an upset like that IS the most likely.

Go Eagles? :puke: God it hurt to say that.

It's just goes along with all that is right and good in the world that the Commanders lose, fall out of the playoff hunt, and earn us a playoff berth all in one disheartening loss to a division rival that hasn't won one division game this season.
