Doesn't really fit, but I HATE it when people say "decimated" when they mean annihilated or destroyed completely. Decimated means a reduction of 10%.

It's just stupid using it to describe something that you really like. Even if they are something you really like. :p

I cannot stand when people say, " I was like, there..."

" i was like, what the hell.."

It is one of my pet peeves. It makes you sound stupid.

I'll add this one that seems to be oversued - " it is what it is "
