After yesterday, I am taking a long hard look at the Giants. Their defense was very solid, Barber looks like he is still in Pro Bowl form, Brandon Jacobs looks like a change of pace stud, Burress, Toomer, and Shockey will be a trio to be reckoned with, also with Barber as a receiver out of the backfield. Two of their TD's yesterday were from special teams, an area we are severely lacking at. I think they will be the toughest games this season.

I'm not too worried about the Eagles, as far as I am concerned, they are a downgrade from the team that dominated last year. We already know what they are about so they will be easier to prepare for.

Also Kansas City looked darn good yesterday. There defense is improved, and they may have the best RB duo in the league.

Those two teams (3 games) will worry me the most.

Thoughts?

All of them!!!! I'm optimistic that if we go out and play well we have a chance in every game but I take no games as easy or a sure thing.

Philadelphia. Not only are they still the cream until someone scoops them off but they own us. Lot of season left. Too soon to be giddy.

Both of those teams are real good.

Colts looked pretty good to me defensively. I know the Ravens have a bad offense but they atleast have some decent WRs and a great RB and some good OLinemen. They just don't have a QB. The Colts just shut them down. I didn't think I would see that from the Colts.

I'll say the eagles cause they have our number, i think we can split with them this year. After that I'll say the Chiefs and Raiders are going to be tough games.

The thing to keep in mind is, Dallas played very well but without some breaks, they would be 0-1 and a lot of people would be gloom and doom around here. I don't think we can overlook any team. I am worried about them all, even SF.

Oakland is a team we can't overlook on offense. Our passing D looked bad at times against San Diego and they don't have near the recievers that Oakland has. I think we can score on Oakland but we may have to try and score 40+ to beat them the way they can pass.

I heard Boller went out last night with an injury...Mr. Wright will be taking over there, will be interesting to watch. I always like A. Wright.

Yes we had breaks but we took advantage of them. Last year, the other teams had drives extended due to our penalties. Turn about is fair play.

No giddiness here, that's for sure. I think every game, even San Francisco, has the potential of being the dog fight we saw yesterday at Qualcomm. And as we say here so frequently, the be the man, you have to beat the man (Philly). We havent done that consistently in some time.

Let's not look too far ahead. The Washington game will be a physical one. Then we have to go to SF on a short week. They're a bad team on paper but that same team somehow beat a decent Rams team yesterday. Then there's Randy Moss, and he OWNS us more than any one player i can remember in my 20+ years of following this team. Based on our previous games vs Moss, we'll have to score 28+ points just to have a chance of winning.

I'd be content to somehow be at 3-1 before our big showdown vs Philly.

Which team worries me most? This week: Washington. Next week, it'll be the 'Niners. Care to guess which team it'll be the week after that?

At this point every team seems dangerous.....If I would have to pick it would be the Eagles and Giants.Yes I said the Giants, we play them twice and these are teh most important games we will have this year.
