In this scenario, the Dolphins take Pitts, but see DeVonta Smith on the board at 10. Cowboys #1 target Surtain is off the board. Which trade down option do you prefer?

10-1300 points
18-900 Points
50-400 Points

Exact Match

10-1300 Points, 99-104 Points, 138-37 Points
Total-1,441 Points
18-900 Points, 36-540 Points
Total-1,440 Points

In either trade back, think Zaven Collins would be their #1 target at 18. 44 would be a good spot for their corner. 36 is prime position for a Safety, where 50 gives them one of their Defensive Lineman targets.

Considering all nine teams picking ahead of the Cowboys most likely looking for offense, I think it’s highly likely Surtain is still there.

Are you talking about trading all the way down to #18?

Option 2 all day,
Gives us 18,36,44 three top players.
But please no to a lber at 18, take barmore all day before Collins,

Both Carolina/Denver are prime spots for Surtain to be selected.

I'd go with the 18 and 36 scenario.

The players I'd like the see them pickup early seem to fall between 15 and 35/40.....and you just know if we stay at 10, we are gonna have to sweat something out on the way to 44.

Three picks between 18 and 44 is exactly how I hope it goes.

If they do that I'd be so damn pissed off, rather get ojulari or Phillips
Agree there, but if they intend to use Collins as a rusher in certain packages, I could get on board.

Then again, why not just draft a RUSHER to be a rusher?

Hey....I'm just hoping the lack of connection between us and one of them is by design.

They love Collins and he would be their top target.
My only question with this if we're making Collins, a LBer, our first pick......what does that say about Jaylon and LVE? Are they admitting they are picking up LVE 5th year options or Jaylon's will have a more limited role, maybe not even starting? Remember his salary was just guaranteed last month.

It’s Surtain or Horn. I have not seen any reputable mock with a LB being taken in round 1.

No disrespect to Horn, but he isnt a top 10 pick type talent.

The fact that he is in the discussion should tell us all we need to know about the quality of this draft overall.

Horn IMO is a better prospect than Collins.

Could very well be.

I just dont think it's a deep draft....with the exception of WR (of course)....and maybe OT.

The QBs will end up deciding whether this draft goes down as one of history's worst.

Surtain is Dallas's #1 target?

That's what the talking heads and the mocks are predicting.

I believe Dallas will surprise everyone and select Horn over Surtain.
