Clearly, the Cowboys are going to take a WR somewhere within the top 3 rounds, based on the numbers. We have to remember, we are implementing a different scheme, where we may see more multiple receiver sets, then those double TE formations.

19-Addison-Combine (route runner)
21-JSN-Combine (slot)
27-Hyatt-30 Visit (deep speed)
29-Johnson-30 Visit (Big X Receiver)
39-Flowers-30 Visit (versatile inside/out, quickness)
42-Downs-30 Visit (Slot)
48-Scott-Combine, Private Workout (versatile inside/out, quickness)
55-Tillman-Private Workout, 30 visit? (Big X/Y Receiver)
72-Mims-Dallas Day (Slot)
80-Rice-30 Visit (Big X Receiver)
85-Mingo-30 Visit (Big X Receiver)

Couple of my own opinions:

-Dak has worked better with high-end route runners/separators, rather then the so called big receiver who struggles getting separation.
-Cole Beasley a slot only receiver had his best season in Dak's rookie year, especially on 3rd downs.
-Cowboys are moving away from their specific WR prototype, is it a coincidence since we are changing schemes?
-MM might employ more of a Full Back and 1 TE sets this yr. TE wasn't a big weapon for the majority of his years at GB.
I think Johnston TCU fits better with CeeDee, Cooks, and Gallup but JSN is the best overall receiver. The problem is he may be slot only. JSN could be Jefferson.

There aren't any true elite receivers in the class, bunch of slot receivers. As I said in another response, Rams hit the lottery with Cooper Kupp a few years ago. Perhaps, there is another one similar to him that comes out of this class. Who may that be? Have no idea.

I said months ago that if the Cowboys were really switching to a West Coast offense they needed to add two and maybe three starting-calber receivers, guys with quickness who run good routes and get separation on slants and outs, catch the ball on the move and do stuff once the ball is in their hands.

My guy is Charlie Jones. He's a sixth-year senior but he plays inside and out, runs all the routes, gets open and catches everything. He can beat you long or make the tough catch over the middle, and makes yards once he caths the ball. He can come in and play right away, making the dirty catches and moving the chains, being Dak's best friend. He'll probably be available at #129 and maybe even #176.

If we’re talking day-one prospects, JSN or Flowers. JSN is a very Julian Edelman like receiver to me. Flowers has the deep speed this team has lacked for a long time.

I like Downs too, but not really at 26.
