I'm going with Coleman and Copeland only. Boyd to make the practice squad...that's it, what say you?

Hard to tell when you haven't seen them in a Cowboy uniform yet. It would be foolish to say who's going to make it based on info from ESPN.

What's it going to be then, eh?

If they carry four backs--Malena.

Coleman is pretty much a lock. Washington has a real shot because he does have something no other WR has--speed.

I predict FB Copeland and OG Clarke make the 53. TE Najavar might make it with his blocking abilities. I think they try to keep WR Washington, WR Boyd, and DT Coleman on the practice squad.

Copeland for sure, other than that its tough, I would say malena has the best shot.

If you pay attention to Broaddus and believe his take, he is basically saying Copeland is getting more credit that he deserves.

I agree in a way. He will need to prove he can do more than deliver the "crushing blocks" that apparently people believe he was delivering his whole career at LSU.

A fullback, even if we keep one, has to do more. Run, block and catch. I think he might, maybe, have one of those qualities.

It reminds me of the FB that was drafted in the 4throster the year before Parcells came to the Cowboys. He was awesome power blocking FB, Parcells cut him be cause he was 1 dimensional.

According to at least one profile I read on Copeland, he'll need to develop more consistency staying with his blocks.
Anytime you block a LB or anyone else, if the FB releases them prematurely, they can still make a play on the RB.

Copeland has a down year last year. He's too big.

I'm not really high on that signing. He's a dinosaur in the NFL these days.

Not a fan of ESPN...at all. Only watch NFL network and read alot. Internet is fun to speculate on...especially this board because there are some very knowledgeable fans on it. I don't do fantasy football so this is it for me.
