Which was better: Dak 2016 or Dak 2019?

This is where I will disagree! But Romo would move the ball during the regular season against good teams. He was a constant threat to make a big play. Romo wouldnt continually go 3 and out which is what led to the Dallas defense getting worn down in the first half. GB just running the heck out of the ball. If Dallas keeps pace with GB in scoring the Dallas defense is also inspired to make a play. The QB indirectly affects the play of the whole team. Dak didnt score a TD until there was 1 min left in the 3rd quarter.
With the exception of 2014, people complained about Romo's offense going 3 and out all the time. Those people were just as wrong as you are right now. You're claiming 3 and outs led the defense to getting worn down in the 1st half against GB. They didn't even have a 3 & out in the first half. Not sure how fans continue to equate not scoring to 3 & outs. We have been one of the very best teams in the league at not going 3 & out for many years, including 2015 when our offense sucked. These are things that can easily be counted.

The 2019 team was much worse than the 2016 team.

Worse running the ball, worse on defense, worst special teams in the entire league, worst starting field position, tied for most dropped passes.

Dak himself was clearly a better passer. The Cowboys were #3 in air yards and #5 in on target %, for instance - even though these are the two areas that ignorant fans whine about, as if those things aren't easily measured now (spoiler, they are). But that just demonstrates that the quarterback isn't the entire team.

In the GB game they still struggled to move the football and possess it for any length of time. Dak threw some ints in that game so thats even worse than going 3 and out.
Very poor offense play from Dak. Dak is too cold at times and it leads to terrible inconsistency. Looking back at GB they werent that good of a defense and Dallas never should of been been down 30-3 by the end of the 3rd when they finally scored.

Ok. That is much different than going 3 & out. And despite the offensive struggles, the defense sucked all on their own. It’s not like the defense held on and broke. They pretty much got punched in the mouth from the start. It wasn’t the offenses fault they couldn’t stop GB, just like it wasn’t our defenses fault our offense couldn’t score. Both units sucked.

On top of that our special teams units, with the help of a garbage defense left the offense pinned down at the 10 while opposing teams started off with a shorter field.
