Dallas winning a superbowl..... Or Tyson Thompson breaking a big run on a KR instead of running directly into the pile.

Super bowl. Thompson AIMS at the pile is seems. He never even makes a move. He just runs straight, and falls down.

I dont understand it. Maybe they can design a return to get him more open field to work with. I'm tired of the straight ahead running full speed into the pile nonsense. but thinking about it, Parcells is probably coaching him to get the sure 25 yards instead of fishing for the riskier big return.

HAHAHAHA!! Funny post!! I say Superbowl...

With our average starting spot at our own 30 yard line...

Thompson is like clockwork on that!! We WILL start our drives at the 30 yard line! FOR SURE!

:laugh2:

Thompson reminds me of the famous qoute....

"If you need 3 yards, he'll get you 3 yards. If you need 10 yards, he'll get you 3 yards"

I agree with the Parcells philosophy on this. The "toe dippers" might break one now and then but Thompson's straight ahead hard style results in better field position factored out for the year.

Without a decent play by a kicker, Thompson would already have at least one TD.

It's just a matter of time before the "hole" is where is should be and Thompson breaks one.

What do you consider "breaking a big run?" Thompson got some nice returns against Philly when the Cowboys thwomped the Eagles, and he also got a return to the 45 against the Commanders when we really needed it...It's better than some of Dante Hall's returns where he would run backwards 10 yards and get tackled...but I have a question.

What comes first, a game without a sack, or back-to-back Super Bowl wins?

If he had some vision, he could have easily run one back against the eagles in the first meeting. All he had to do was turn to the left and it was wide open the rest of the way down the sideline. But no he run directly towards there kicker.

yeah, I cant decide on this one.. I really do like the fact that we start on our own 30 every single time... thats really good field position.. but it would be nice to see him try to make a move and break one..

man.....it's like he seeks out the pile..

the only thing i can figure is he is looking for one little seam in the pile knowing full well if he finds one ............he's taking it to da house!!
