And you have to call out the quarterback when he doesn't look your way on a crucial fourth down late in the game and it gets intercepted?
Never mind the interception you caused by quitting on a route in the first quarter.
You're Terrell Owens.
You don't admit to mistakes when there's always someone else to castrate instead.
Any rings you see on his fingers didn't come from winning a Super Bowl.
And don't tell me what I drink because you have no idea.
Do you honestly think Owens and Michael Irvin are alike?
Owens was popular with some players and disliked by others, he helped divide a locker room.
The Playmaker was the emotional spark plug for the entire team.
Owens spends most of his off-seasons in South Beach training on his own in between reality TV shows.
Irvin would never let Troy Aikman do anything at Valley Ranch without being there, too. Michael was paranoid about anyone else getting time with Aikman and was too competitive to allow that.
Even Irvin, a big Owens supporter, criticized him on the radio for not being in Dallas year round with Tony Romo. The QB developed a bond with Jason Witten because the tight end was always there working with him and the two reached a comfort level together Owens knows nothing about.
But that isn't Owens' fault, it's just the QB and TE drawing up secret plays to exclude him from the offense.
Owens is a sunshine soldier, if everything isn't perfect he will eventually do something to get himself kicked to the curb.
Honestly, what really needs to be said when Jerry Jones eats $8 million on the salary cap to get rid of a player he personally likes?
Even with off the field issues, that never happened with Irvin.
