Why don't the Cowboys sign TO right now? John Clayton just reported that other teams are still talking to TO and this is not a done deal. If a three-year deal has been reached, why not wrap it up before another team makes a better offer? If you want to hold the PC till Monday fine, but at least sign the thing today.

because maybe we don't want TO, too many people are assuming things right now, I am not saying that we are not interested or that he is not yet agreed

John Clayton said that other teams are talking to TO?? So not only did he deny the reports that multiple media outlets are reporting, but he contradicted them... So he'll be wrong twice this time. Just further proof Clayton is a joke:lmao2:

From Drew Rosenhaus' lips to John Clayton's ears to your TV set, I give you "other teams are still talking Terrell Owens".

Anyone ever consider that TO people leaked this story to force some hands around the league.. he has agreed but NOT SIGNED..which leaves the door open but says,, guys I am prepared to go to dallas if no one steps up and steps up quick..just a theory. I think he was a cowboy 3 months ago actually,, just not on paper. We shall see.

Didn't KLBK say sources inside the Cowboys' organization?

It has to be a done deal IMO. The reasons have been discussed ad nauseam the past few days since Key's release. My guess is an agreement was already reached weeks ago on the condition that the Eagles were unable to trade TO and he eventually became a FA. Call it tampering or whatever but it goes on all the time with disgruntled(or soon to be FA) players under contract "behind closed doors".

Why let facts get in the way of a good theory?? I mean come on, it never stoped our government and it will not stop me. and that is all i got to say about that.

Jay Glazer said that he had a source close to TO that has been very reliable call him and said it was a 3yr contract, after he got Drew's original story. Then when he tried to call Drew back he couldn't get a hold of him anymore.

I don't think John Clayton knows that the Cowboys are located in Texas.....

After all, I remember him saying Parcells had to have Tim Couch and that he was willing to give up two #2's for him.

Ever remember a visit from Couch?

Me neither..............
