I have a large box full of old VHS tapes to transfer to DVD and it would be cool to be able to record TV shows directly to DVD. (Beats paying for a box set at the store)
So anyone use one?

Sorry, I haven't used a VCR in about 7 or 8 years, and have only used 3 or 4 DVDs the past 2 years or so. I wouldn't even want to keep anything on VHS (except maybe personal videos).
