i since that we is all in knotts over a game that seemingly seems months away and it be only 2 days away.

So let us take off the worry hats and calm down and ask, "Gimmie, what do you recommend for the Frozen Tundra blues"?

Well i am glad you axed. Because I want to drops thoughts of THE GAME for a little while to pose this question to you, the wise mens and womans of this forum.

How do you forsee next year's defense?
Because really, this team is only 2 defensive star mans away from being a peranial Super Bowl contender. I do not see Tony, Dez, Witten, TWill or the O linesmans going anywhere. They will stay and only get better. Yes, Witten is long on the wisdom tooth. And you crazy guys keeps saying that we can afford to let Murray go to greener pastures. What kidders you are. We need Murray next year. You knows it. I know it. Bob Dole know it.
Ok where was i . . .
Yes we are 2 "stars" away from being a well balanced team next year that could go 14-2 and to the Super Bowl. In your hearts you know I am right and that I am handsome and clever like . . . like a professor at Tarleton State College.

1 key addtion to the secondary.

1 key addition to the D line

and, if the FA/trade gods be good, a burner at DE.

This is my prayer.

How do you forsee the defense next year? What help do you see and what holes do you see Jerra filling on the defense. Yeth, hep from the draft would be nice but it is always a crap shout.

Holla!

I have been thinking along those very same lines, Gimme. There is absolutely NO DOUBT that the front office will work to improve the defense...mainly through the draft, IMO. I don't see A Suh signing or anything remotely close to that type of signing through FA. I think we'll probably see a mid level-type signing or two and that'll be it. We will be picking at or near the bottom of each round in the draft, so I hope there will be a player or two who can be of immediate help when we pick. Jerry and crew have done a pretty darned god job in the draft of late. I just hope that trend continues. Bottom line, we'll be stronger defensively next year (player-wise) but the question is, how much stronger. We also should be hoping that we get to keep Marinelli. Nobody needs me to tell them how instrumental he has been to this defense's ability to play way above their head this year.

Listening to Jerry talk about this team recently, where Romo is in his career and seeing how close this team is given their performance this season, I would be surprised if Jerry does not make one significant FA addition to the DL next season.

That is a possibility for the very reason you mentioned. The fly in the ointment will be what it costs to keep the Dez's, Murray's, Mclain's, et al that are up for contracts. I really don't think Jerry wants to go back into cap hell, but he might be willing to if he thought it could add another Lombardi to the trophy case.

As far as being nervous, I'm not.

Like Detroit, I've wanted Green Bay since that fluke game last year.

We're gonna get em.

Mike Francesca reported that the Cowboys were so impressed with what Suh showed them last Sunday, they will make a run at him if available. Not sure if he is just speculating or actually heard this from someone in Valley Ranch.

I never say never, but I really think that he'll cost more than our cap can afford. I love his intensity and talent, but he's always one "over the line" hit away from suspension. That scares me.
