Thank you for your reply...I will discuss MRI with dr., they also don’t happen quickly in Canada. My next option is physical therapy...

It sounds like you’ve been through a lot...hope you are on the right track, which seems you are.

Don’t you know the brand name of your pillow? It sounds like a good idea.

I am doing well, thanks. Still have those leaking disks, but I keep them under control with regular exercise (weights and cardio) stretching and a decent diet. I swear by physical therapy, I hope you have the same results. Keep in mind, you are only going to get out of it what you put into it. Work hard with the routine and do your exercises at home.

This is the link for my pillow. It was the crowning jewel for me.

Cervical epidural steroid injections is what I get helps for a few months
I had the max two rounds of 3 shots in my lower spine and the first go round worked for 8 months, took the 2nd round and nothing.

I had the same experience with acupuncture. I was skeptical and after the 6th treatment I was pain free but I did grow breasts and speak fluent German, just kidding about the German. That lasted for about 6 months and I started up again and no help.

I am just biding my time because I've been told if you can hold out, the body can and will heal itself and since my pain is 98% in the leg and not the back, I don't have it as bad as some do. Man, when I was in OK I had a good customer that had had 4 surgeries, titanium rod, the whole magilla and could not even walk on some days. He told me he regretted the surgery.

When I had the cervical fusion the last thing they had me sign and explained to me, a naked and stoned man, was that this might not fix the problem. Funny, when I was signing up, everybody was so cheerful and optimistic and now that I'm naked and thinking I could have been Julius Caesar's favorite Mynah bird in a previous life, now they have some doubts? But, I was naked and when I'm naked, time to get down to business.

They provide you with a series of questions to chart your fill level. I believe mine was white.
The site is asking me to pick my own. Another question, does that model come with the pillow, she's a real cutie!

Physical therapists know what they're doing. Mine knew I had arthritis in my C7 vertebrate before the doctor did.

It’d good to hear you are doing well. I’d rather deal with my injuries with physical therapy as opposed to surgery and pain meds...

Drs. Today are very reliant on on machinery to get diagnosis...glad to hear the therpist figured it out...easier to treat if you know the problem.

I have a lot of issues with my back and neck; arthritis, degenerative disk disease and some trauma. NO WAY I opt for surgery unless I get to a point where I'm just unable to function. I have been able to manage fairly well with PT treatments and routine exercise.

That is very good to hear...I’ll be looking into physio and maybe massage therapy as well..

I'm so sorry to hear what you're going through lukin2006. Everyone has had solid advice for you and I can't think of a thing to add other than my thoughts and prayers. Nightrain had a good idea about the My Pillow. Check them out on QVC.com which will help you pick the fill you need and show you how the pillow actually works. It has three separate sized foam fills in it that lock into place (so to speak) once you get it to where you're comfortable. They are guaranteed for 10 years I believe and machine wash and dry. No, I don't work for the company but when I use mine I lay still and don't squirm in bed trying to get comfortable. I'm sorry to hear about everyone's medical situations and hope all turn out well. Don't get the surgery, Coach! Just get the model and let her do the heavy lifting. I'm shocked about Runwild. I thought arthritis would be as afraid of you as it is of Chuck Norris. Does it know who it's messing with?

For an extra $20, she is the pillow.
WHAT????? I already placed my order and didn't see that as an option. I got the Mr. Sandman music box and night light, the Snuggle head sock and the Cuddleskin footie booties but no cutie pie model.

Ya gotta be quicker than that......I placed my order first. I just hope it's not another case of trick photography, like the "Asian" "girl" I met up with from OKCupid!
