Forget about all the people who are talking about the Giants being bad and two bad football teams playing today, etc.

This was a huge, huge, victory.

The Giants were at home, in their preferred weather elements.
They were riding a four game winning streak (despite the teams they were playing)
They were supremely confident and looking to embarrass a team that has a history of allowing that to happen.
They had the Cowboys where they wanted them with 3rd and 7 late in the game.
They were facing an injury depleted line and LB corps.
The best ST player in football went out of the game with a hamstring early in the game where it was clear field position was going to be crucial.

... and were playing a second team in the refs almost all game, and esentially had to make two, (3 if you count the FG in harsh winds) game winning plays consecutively to put the game away.

And the Cowboys got it done.

Feel good about today. That was the Giants best effort we got today. And it wasn't enough.

I'm hype right now, and you should be too. This is a buoying victory. Watch and see.

I agree it was a big win because I didn't expect the D to hold up against Eli as well as it did. Thought they would have 20 by halftime and Dallas would have to win a shootout.

Being able to finish in the 4th when you have a chance to win is more important than ever with all the 3 point games these days and they did it. All good points you made.
