Well he was a lot more mobile when he came into the league and certainly in his rookie year. Compared to now the guy was a poor man’s Michael Vick. Now he is a pocket passer but the most effective pocket passers are people who can hit timing routes and consistently hit receivers in stride. Something he struggles at.
Mobile maybe isn’t the right word but he was a threat with his legs and was a strong runner. He also was hard to bring down in the pocket and could extend plays that way. He’s never had an ounce of arm talent so with his athleticism gone he’s a more turnover prone version of Rush.

Let’s call it his McGuffin. However we define it I think we can all agree that he lost it.

Can't argue with this.
  • He says repeatedly that Dak is better than Cooper.....check
  • He says also that Dak is not the QB that carries a team...check
  • Dak is WAY overpaid given what he brings to the table...check
These are things that most know if they arent heavily biased either way.

Dak was having a bad year, but he was near the the top of league the previous year statistically.
It got Dallas nowhere in the end. Worst Dallas home playoff loss...in Cowboy history.

He's never been anything special. But has always been good when the players around him are good.
Not great. Good
The QB position is overpaid and he has reaped the rewards.

It's funny when someone has this take about Dak, then they are nothing but a hack! If he would have said something good about Dak, oh, he knows what he is talking about. Dak fans, poor things!
Yes and some have to respond to EVERY post because how dare he get some negativity

Agree with everything said, except for he and most of the talking heads seem to be dead wrong about Cowboy fans thinking Dim is the "engine" powering this team...I don't know VERY FEW "Knowledgable" Cowboy fans that still thinks this is true.

I do not like Jason Whitlock, at all, but hit the nail on the head. The gig is up, Cooper Rush has exposed the false belief that the team couldn't win without Dak. Jerry gave away the stash to the wrong person.

I always felt Dak was much better when he ran the ball because my belief is once he took a hit, it woke him up and he was locked into the game. Now he just sits in the pocket and he was never a pocket passer.

Bottom line, Cowboys nation is stuck with Dak because Jerry has to be right. Shoutout to the Falcons GM (who can actually be fired) for making the call of admitting his mistake and moving on without the nonsense we're used to around here.
