Just read Jason Whitlock's piece on Foxsports, wow, ripping Peyton Manning as a choker???? Citing his record and how the Colts dont score enough in the post season. The talk was the same we heard about Romo the last few weeks, cant win the "big game". Hey if Romo's career turns out anything like Peyton's, I would be thrilled.....

Then he goes on to talk about Pennington, that he is a "big game" guy, that it wasnt his fault against Baltimore??? That Defense will do it to everyone they are "all world"!! Huh??? Chad P threw 4 picks???? Again, I guess Romo fits the bill here also, wasnt his fault etc...

Jeez, these writers just dont have anything tho write about anymore, so they just talk crap over and over!!!!

This guy is a clown!!!!

Even during his superbowl run, he had awful numbers in the playoffs.

I don't agree with the brand "choker", but it's not like he was a clutch QB either.

Whitlock needs to go join Weight Watchers and get a clue... He's a horrible sports writer in my opinion.

Peyton Manning ripped that same Ravens defense apart earlier this season and does it every year.

Manning and the passing game were about all the Colts had going for them this year. They couldn't run it at all.

His playoff #s are better than most. He has a handful of the greatest playoff games ever played. And his 2nd half against the Patriots 2 years ago when they won it all was nothing short of a masterpiece against a great team.

Wow, that's two articles in one year by Whitlock that were not about racism. That's a record.

Exactly. The Problem isnt Peyton, the problem is Bill Polian. Dont get me wrong, the guy's a top 3 GM in this league, but he's a sucker for speed and doesnt draft the kinda personel that's built to go thru a 16 game regular season and go into the playoffs and withstand the physicality so many of these AFC defenses possess.

They did it once two years ago, but their O-line is finesse, as are their backs. And their team as a whole is very small which equals an injury prone roster that pushed around by bigger physical teams in January. Even the Chargers D without their best player in Merriman made that Colts' O-line look like a joke.

But unfortunately, that side to the story doesnt sell as well as "Peyton's a choker" "Dungy's a poor playoff prepped coach"(even tho I agree with this)

He wrote something earlier this year ripping ESPN for not giving enough credit to Ball State and their QB Nate Davis. He went on and on about how Davis is the best player in college football, calling him the second coming of Brett Favre and saying that he can be better than Brady.

As of now he's 9-23 for 143 yards, 0 TD's, 1 INT, and 2 fumbles lost against unranked Tulsa in their bowl game.

I can't believe that twinky eatin Whitlock didn't write an article on McNabb and how they beat the Vikings because he's a black QB. Next week he'll write an article about how Vince Young should be starting over Kerry "Vodka" Collins

I don't read his articles anymore, and I don't know Nate Davis but since it's whitlocks article im assuming Davis is black?

And what does his being black have to do with anything?

BTW I like Whitlock. No I don't agree with everything that he says but he has very bold opinions that most columnists don't dare touch. He isn't afraid to call people out and doesn't back down from it. I can do nothing but respect him for that. At least he isn't like Rick Reilly who writes some of the most obvious crap every week as it is the first time someone has ever heard of this idea in his columns.

I happen to think Pennington's strategy of testing the shaky and inexperienced Ed Reed was a sound game plan, going in.
