On another posting on this board, somebody listed below games that affect our season. If there any other games of importance, let me know. But who am I supposed to root for/against this coming Sunday?

Rec. Team Up next
7-4 Cowboys at Giants (Dec. 3)
6-4 Giants at Titans (obviously I root for Titans big time)
6-4 Panthers at Commanders (seems like I gotta for for Skins just to ensure Panthers don't become a problem for us down the road but I hate the Skins and want to see them buried; who should I root for?
6-4 Saints at Falcons (we play both but Saints the soonest. like Sean Peyton and want see him do well; don't like Falcons so I'm inclined vote for Saints to win)
6-4 Seahawks vs. Packers (Mon.) - (guess I root for Packers just to ensure Seahawks don't become a problem down the road but the way 49ers playing Seahawks may not be a problem)
5-5 Eagles at Colts (root for Colts; want Eagles in the hole like the Skins)
5-5 49ers at Rams (which team do I root for?
5-5 Falcons vs. Saints (Saints unless there something I should know)

Any other games I need worry about who I should root for. I know to always root against the Pats, Bears (maybe they go into a skid and we could somehow grab first seed; a Bear 3 game losing streak would sure help us out).

6-4 Giants at Titans (Titans)
6-4 Panthers at Commanders (Skins)
6-4 Saints at Falcons (Falcons or Saints. We play both of them and control our own destiny against them. Preferably Falcons I guess. They have further to go)
6-4 Seahawks vs. Packers (Mon.) - (Packers)
5-5 Eagles at Colts (Colts. Most definitely. Colts.)
5-5 49ers at Rams (49ers. They'll falter and the Rams need to be far out of it in case they should get hot all of the sudden)
5-5 Falcons vs. Saints (Whoever loses the first matchup needs to win this one. Cancel each other out.)

Pretty much right.

I generally root for the better record to lose, but the 49ers are pretenders so I'd rather they bury the Rams. Otherwise, always root for the lower record. Just bottles up the bad teams.

My desire to see the Cowboys get a good seed is much higher than my desire for the Commanders to be more miserable. I'll be a Skins fan for sure on Sunday.

I'd say root against Chicago. They are the only team that has a chance to keep us from having home field advantage throughout the playoffs.

I'm going to the Skins/Panthers game on Sunday and I'm really torn.

I NEVER root for the Skins, and I won't be on Sunday but at least in this case I'll be able to take a silver lining from it should they win.

I want the Skins to end the season on a horrible skid, with not bright signs or good play from Campbell to give them hope going into the offseason.

If we take care of our buisness, then we won't have to worry about the Panthers or any NFC South team as we'll have the tiebreaker over all of them.

As long as we win-out and get the bye, I'll be happy. I kind of want to go into Chicago and beat them on their home field.
