Can they put aside their Brett Favre adoration and root for the Cowboys? Or will they forget he joined the hated Vikings?

Not all Pack fans are fond of Brett or the Vikes so I would think they will half heartedly pull for the Cowboys others of course still have a strong feeling for Brett and pull for the vikes.

What's wrong with cheese? Cheese makes everything better.

My brother is a Packers fan and is rooting for the Saints and Cowboys this weekend.

He hates the Vikings and is pissed Brett Favre basically crapped on the fans by going to play for their rival.

He is rooting for the Saints because the Cards beat GB last week.

And all this works out for me because I'll be in New Orleans the weekend of the NFC Championship so if it's Saints-Cowboys, I'm definitely going.

GO COWBOYS!:star:

Several of my friends are Packers fans, and they admit they're rooting for Dallas whole-heartedly. And besides the Bears, many of them hate Dallas more than any other team.

One of them said to me on facebook, "I hope Ware decapitates Favre...literally"

Still trying to figure out how "sc called" die hard Vikings fans can cheer Brett?

Guess I am too oldschool. Never thought he would ever go to a enemy of the Pack.

Same way we cheered for TO...even if it is to a MUCH lesser degree given Favres history.

My good friend David is secretly a big Packers fan still. But he pulls for the Vikings now because he's a huge fan of Brett Favre. Followed him for a while.

Thing is some were never big fans of TO to begin with. Brett stepped in to a down and out team and helped them get back to a competitive team. To me it would be like Staubach going to the Skins, Giants or Philly

The Green Bay fans here are rooting for Dallas, the ones that I know. Wanting to see Favruh get planted, early and often.

I'm hoping Dallas can accomodate.

I agree with your overall point, but the Vikings made the playoffs last year.

Except a head!

Never forget the first time my son noticed Packer fans in the stands during a highlight show....

He said "daddy what's that man have on his head?"
I said "son, that man has cheese on his head"

Especially the nachos at Cowboys Stadium. They're excellent.
