Who Are The Best 10 Players In The Draft?

I give him the higher grade because based on game film he has produced at a high level his entire career on the field, Fairley has not.

His entire career? As in the two years Quinn was eligible before he got suspended for illegally accepting gifts and lying about it?

Have you seen gamefilm of Fairley at the Community College he played at before he transfered? You are saying he didn't produce based on one year, his Sophmore year after he made a huge leap in competition, switched schools, switched coaches, switched cities, switched schemes, etc.

Quinn's first year was nothing special either, in fact their "production" was pretty similar.

I think in a few weeks a QB will be in the top 10.
If you mean that a QB will go in the top 10...I agree.

The best 10 players is pretty much nebr the same as the top players chosen.

I guess non have have a clue who the best 10 are, but we can have fun guessing.

There is no question that Quinn has the highest ceiling of any player coming out in '11, but can he recover form while sitting out for an entire year?

I know dez did it... but that doesn't mean just cause dez did it, quinn can too

Lets say a player misses one month. Normally it takes 3 months to get into the same form before being out one month. Imagine being out an entire year! Sometimes it can take twice the amount of time to get to where you were before sitting out.

P.S. With the logic I'm using, maybe that means Dez isn't even close to his ceiling yet!

But he is and does have character concerns. I never blame the prospects for when there is a situation with agents, that falls on adults taking advantage of a naive 19 year old kid. Fairley is the type of guy who curb stomps QBs after a knock down or sack, that's just a bad attitude.

Unfortunately, goof-ball Fairley will be drawing multiple fines per game until he realizes that the NFL protects QBs and it's players from 'thug tactics' like the knuckle-head in Pittsburgh found out.

1.AJ Green

3.Robert Quinn
4.Da'Quan Bowers
5.Cam Jordan

I`m a big fan of Failey , but I live about 1.5 miles from the Community College where he played and he was never a big star at that level. Me and my Dad had this conversation a couple of days ago and he can`t remember Fairley even making news in the local newspaper. I live in a very small town and everything makes the paper. Without a doubt ,Fairley must have shown potential because Auburn signed him . It makes you wonder about him.

again I'd say you're being naive if you think Quinn was just some kid who was taken advantage of. Sometime the "naive" kid knows exactly what he's doing.

Well then I'll ask you this... Who's red flag will hurt his team the most at the next level?

For starters, I don't consider over agressiveness a red flag. I think a lot of very good defenders are over aggressive. James Harrison gets flagged all the time but I wouldn't say that is a red flag.

For Quinn, he made a deliberate decision that cost him his 2010 season. Add him and Marvin Austin to the tar heels and they may win the ACC and go the oragnge bowl. Is it the worst thing to do in the world, no, but he displayed an attitude that he's above the rules and above his team mates.

In the end, I don't think either is enough to significantly drop either player (at all with Fairley), but you can't project his sophomore season to his junior season. Fairley was a beast this year, best D-linemen in college football and in most scouts/experts opinions he had a better season this year than Quinn did in 09'. And that's all you can go by. His 2010 may have been better or may have been worse, none of us know

entire career? His freshmen year was ok for a freshmen, that's it. It was also very similar to Fairley's sophomore season (first on the D1-A level)

Well I hope other teams feel that way too and 8 teams pass on him in the draft. :D

I would love Fairley with the 9th pick. The only concern that I have would be his past but I have seen enough this year to get past that.
