I believe the two most dangerous teams in the NFC are Green Bay and Dallas.

I would not want to play Green Bay at home and against their Defense.

If you look at Dallas from the vantage point of other teams, what exactly is their weakness?

Like Matt Millen stated Saturday nigh, here are the questions you ask about Dallas:

Do they have speed? Yes they do.

Do they have good QB play? Yes they do.

Do they have a good Defense? Yes they do.

The only problem with my theory is that Minny and Nola will have home field advantage but we just proved that the Saints could be beaten at home. I believe that Brett Favre's age is catching up to him and they will have to rely more on their running game.

Bottom line, I don't think anybody wants to play the Packers and Cowboys right now.

Thoughts?

The thing that scares me, with the Cowboys, is there offensive line. If the O line can play halfway decent, I think we could make a good run in the playoffs.

I never understood this question. Whoever we play in the wild card game will be the most dangerous team.

Everyone appears to be jumping on the Eagles' bandwagon right now, so I suppose that is the answer. Green Bay might be, but a defense that gives up 500 yards passing and the game away on the final play does not strike fear in my heart either. Nobody is playing flawless "in the zone" football. The Eagles are sound, but dominating? I don't think so.

I watched their game against the 49ers yesterday and they looked like the same old Eagles. They didn't so much dominate that game as the 49ers simply kept shooting themselves in the foot.

I do not think that "hot" team has emerged yet. Give the Cowboys two weeks (and two wins), we could be that team. We will see.

Thoughts?

The same defense that Roethlisberger threw a career high, 503 yards against yesterday? An offense that previously couldn't get out of thier own way against teams like KC, Oakland, and the Browns?

And Green bay will be a wildcard team, so no home games for them this year.

Despite Minny's loss yesterday, I still say they are the cream of the crop in the NFC so far. And Philly is no slouch either.

If they don't start running the ball better, they will be one and done in the playoffs. The Saints still have the horses to beat all of them.

If we win out, we'll have to be considered as hot and dangerous as anyone given we'll have a bye and that we've already beaten NO in their house.

As of right now, I'd say that distinction goes to GB.

I can agree with this. Whoever you've got sitting right in front of you in the playoffs is the most dangerous team cause they're the team, at that moment, who can knock you out of the playoffs.

I agree with this completely.

They were so hot yesterday their defense gave up 500 passing yards to the Steelers and could not even keep the momentum given to them by one of the most idiotic decisions I have ever seen a head coach make.

If we play Green Bay again, we should have little problem dissecting a very poor pass defense. They gave up eleven completions of sixteen yards or more. That's horrific. They miss Al Harris as neither Tramon Williams or Jarrett Bush can handle a starting caliber WR.

Pass coverage. Especially when we play off at the corners, and any time of day in the middle of the field. Ethel Merman could get open on us. We are susceptible to the speed rush especially against Flozell.

That said, I think Saturday shows that if we don't turn the ball over, we can beat anyone. We have the tools, we have the talent. It's Miller Time!

IF the cowboys win out, they will definitely be the most dangerous team in the playoffs. It means they beat Philly twice and the Saints...that's three wins against the 5 other playoff teams.

Minny is slumping.
GB just gave up 503 yards passing :laugh2:
Dallas has proven they can win in New Orleans.
Arizona is just alright

I think Dallas is better than Philly I just don't want to have to beat them 3 times, that's the only game that woudl really scare me.

The scariest team is NO, IMO. Yes we beat them, but just the simple fact that we were up 21 in the fourth quarter and everyone knew the game was not over makes them scarier than anybody else!

I agree.

This really worries me the more I think about it.

If would be nice to be able to clinch a Playoff Berth this week, that way, if we lose to Philadelphia, mentally, you can say, "We had already secured a Playoff Spot, so maybe when didn't give our best effort" .

I think it's a toss up between us and New Orleans. Maybe Minnesota but they have O-Line issues like we do.

The thing with the Cowboys though is that they can be feast or famine. Hope they don't disappoint and bow down to the 'Skins. I think I would be sick as a dog.

The biggest problem is inconsistency on this team there talented to go to the SB but can they find it in themselves not to implode and make bad mistakes. This is the question that is on my mind, The team that showed up in N.O must show up in Washington and back home against the iggles. That will get them some major confidence ...

This team can beat anyone in the NFC. Thats what drives me crazy and Im sure all of ou as well

It's just as likely that we'd have to beat NO twice at the Superdome as it is that we'd have to beat Philly 3 times.

Probably even more likely.

True, but we wouldn't have to beat Nawlins in the first round of the Playoffs.

We could win our first game in the Playoffs, get some steam and then face off against the Saints.

Even though we beat the Saints, I still think they are the most dangerous team. I think if Shockey had played, the game would have turn out differently. I'm not saying we would have not beat them but our defense would have played them differently and the outcome could have been different.

I also agree that if we can win out, we will be the other team that no one would want to play against.
