Who are the Pats targeting, they have talked to us & Browns

I've heard that they're after North Carolina's Robert Quinn

I think a deal of Dallas' #9 (1st rounder), and #73 (third rounder) for New England's #17 (1st rounder), #33 (first pick of day 2), and #124 (fourth rounder) adds up pretty well.

And I think Jerry would love all eyes to be on the Cowboys for day 2 of the draft.

And that pick #33 gives you all kinds of options.

Pats have 6 picks in the top 96. Make them give up more than that.

17 & 33 for 9. If they do 9 and 73 for 17, 33, 124 they are getting screwed....but Jerry normally does in trade downs.

Going by the draft value chart, the difference would be 3 points.

For pick #1 on Day 2, I think that neglible.

I think the first pick of Day 2 affords a team a lot of options.

I think the Pats will go up to 6 for Miller if he some how falls, maybe Peterson.
I think its Julio Jones or Aldon Smith with us at 9.

We could get Castanzo, Watt, or Jordan at 17.

just because you trade back to 17 doesn't mean you stay there. Presumably you would have enough ammo to move up a few spots to get a guy you want.

NE can package several different picks
the 9th pick is worth 1350
NE has 17(950), 28(660), 33(580), 60(300), 74(220), 92(132)
NE package #1; 17,60, and 92= 1382 points
NE package #2; 28,33, and 92= 1372 points

I would trade 9 and 110 =1424 points for NE 17,60,74=1470 points
we may have to add 2012 4th round pick to make up for the missing 46 points

17 Castanzo
40 Harris
60 Rackley
71 Ellis
74 Sheppard

pretty good first three rounds

Yeah, that's a good fit.

They want to trade up for Julio - fact.

They'll entertain a trade up for Quinn - fact.
