look on the bright side though, after we are 1-15 next year we can get whatever safety we want.

Glance over the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh round selections of every other team and tell me how many team's drafts are laced with players you're overly familiar with.

If we used this criteria to grade every team's draft, would there be a single winner? I realize many here have a deep knowledge of many draft-eligible prospects, but a ton don't. I sure as heck am not going to pretend I know more than I do.

This wasn't an overly talented draft across the board, in my opinion. I think we could have done a lot worse than we did, especially if Jerry started reaching left and right for WRs just because we let an almost-37-year-old wide receiver walk to Buffalo this offseason.

I think it was a solid draft given the talent pool and our needs. We didn't select a DT, but if we didn't, what does that tell you about the talent at that position outside of BJ Raji?

Looks like they went after football players with lots of athletic ability that could become future starters. Every position on the field cannot have 1st round draft choices. How many guys knew about Patrick Crayton, Jay Ratliff, Sam Hurd, Miles Austin, Nick Folk.....
