Dez makes a great catch and effort to score a TD and look at the people in the front rows in the background sitting down like they're at a funeral. Besides fixing the dline, Jerry's #1 priority this offseason needs to be to find a way to get these imposters out of our stadium for good. For as nice as the building is, that place is starting to lose its integrity as a homefield. These people are shaming my city and our team. I'm really getting sick of them. I don't remember Cowboys fans like this in Texas Stadium.

In fairness, people in the front row don't have to stand up because there is no one in front of them. Of course, I would stand up for big plays anyway, but every fan is different.

I hate the Dallas fanbase. They had to be called out by the QB to make noise. Embarrassing. Go to a game, it's laughable. All Cowboys stadium is is a leverage to schmooze your client with a first row seat who also didn't give a **** about the Cowboys either. It's awful.

Winning is what solves crowd noise. Jerry can't do anything, he's just going to sell the tickets. If they keep winning the crowd will come.

The section you are referring to is the section for people with physical disabilities. The reason they are not standing up is because they no longer have use of their legs.......

Nah....just kidding.....I agree with you....Stand up and act a little excited...Maybe they are Giants fans? That's a whole other debate..:)

Maybe because they are around 50-60 (a lot with grey hair), and don't want to get overexcited and have a heart attack. Old age does that.

Stadium Problem? It's All About Capitalism for Jerry Jones and Cowboys Fans
Just last year, The Dallas Morning News listed AT&T Stadium as one of the top 10 tourist destinations in Dallas, alongside the George W. Bush Presidential Library, South Fork Ranch of the legendary television show Dallas and the Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza, which houses a permanent exhibit on the life, death and legacy of President John F. Kennedy.

Jones reasons that if opposing fans choose at least one away game to attend each season, they will most likely attend one at AT&T Stadium because of its attractiveness, the Texas weather and the ease of getting there from anywhere in the country.

Those were certainly among the factors in the season opener against the San Francisco 49ers.

Add in games against rival teams just a couple of hours away such as Houston and New Orleans and you have the perfect storm.

Pretty much every stadium in the league - except the small markets like Cle, Buff, KC, and GB - have a section like that in the front.

I started off the game in the field suite seats that I got through connections. Then I got busted and had to return to my seat in the upper concourse.

Surprisingly, There was no difference in quality of fans.

Yesterday's crowd was great. The picture doesn't really reflect that.

I've never seen such crazy obsession over fans. They pay their money. They take time out of their day to go to the stadium. They can enjoy the game any way they want to!

All the people who are standing up are in the seats in the upper levels. This is nothing new. Same as the Super Bowl. All those seats close to the field are corporate and don't represent the true NFL fan. Those are very expensive, either season ticket holder or if you somehow get them on the secondary market. No stadium in the NFL has every single person stand up and cheer on every single score.

Flannel Shirt Guy was reppin'

I think the giant video board is part of the issue. Everyone is drawn to that thing like flies to a light. Even the players are always checking it out.

I can believe this. Romo said that he appreciated the fans yesterday and that they were as loud as the fans in Seattle. While I understand that Romo had to acknowledge the fans to some degree after calling them out last week. But he did seem very genuine in how he described the crowd noise. I also recall a gif where someone scored a td and I was shocked by how much of delay there was from the time of the score and the fan reaction.

They can be quiet as church mice when we're on offense for all I care. Funny seeing Romo telling them to be quiet when we were on the goalline, because they were roaring with excitement like idiots.

As for the pic, in all fairness, Dez takes a year to "throw up the X" after he scores. It's entirely possible that some of those people had already finished standing/celebrating.

I thought the place was loud? The loudest its been all year at home. Didn't expect to hear complaints about the crowd. Its just unfair to assume what's going on there. Maybe their Giants fans? Maybe they're tired? Back problems? Whatever. I don't see the big deal.

Those in bright blue shirts look like Giants fans. Certainly the man with his arms crossed.

I agree with the general premis though.
I hear that the stadium was much much louder this week though.
