I thought it might be interesting to see how accurate preseason impressions translate to the regular season, so who are your top 10 teams based on what you've seen in preseason games.

Mine are (warning I took off my blue and silver glasses when I did this):

1. Baltimore - Defense looks awesome as usual, Flaco looks unflappable and they seem to be seething with hate toward Pitt to keep them motivated.
2. New England-Brady looks to be back, but appears to be taking a bit of a pounding. If he stays healthy, you know they'll be in the running,
3. Pittsburgh-Super Bowl hangover? Maybe so but they still look tuff and the defense is as stout as ever, but I think Baltimore gets revenge this year and overtakes them
4. Green Bay - If the preseason isn't an illusion, they look like they're gonna steam roll some folks

The top 4 really stood out to me, the rest all seemed bunched up and could finish in any order

5 New York Giants-They appear to have enough talent despite injuries plus their coaches seem to keep them on edge and competitive
7. Minnesota - D looks good and the team seems to be playing with passion. Can Favre be the difference? I doubt it
8. Atlanta-Seemingly well coached, great RB and QB
8. Philadelphia - They're beat up but they seem to always find a way to compete
9. Indianapolis - Manning looked sharp enough to carry them, D? Who knows?
10. New Orleans - Really?

Honorable mentions:

Dallas Cowboys-ball control O looks good, D looks adequate, but something seems to be missing and I just don't trust Wade to get the best out of a team..still too many penalties and not enough turnovers. If they play disciplined, turnover free ball and start to get turnovers on D, they could rise up the ranks fast.

Arizona-they've looked like a mess at times, but I think they're too talented and well coached not to be in the running at some point.

Chicago-always seem to have a good D and Cutler looks like he's coming on

Miami-I expect them to be well coached and play hard, but their O doesn't look like it has enough to do any serious damage

San Diego - Haven't seen them play

This was just for fun folks, so don't take my stabs in the dark too seriously (except for my top 3)

LOL, did you read my last sentence?

Yep...

By the way Phillip Rivers is having a monster preseason for San Diego, glad they have to come to Dallas this time, LOL!

I'd say we've looked better than the Eagles or Giants but it's close.

Don't know about a top ten. I've barely watched any team outside of Dallas because I just don't care about what they're doing in these games.

As someone who's subjected to the Saints though, they look way better on defense. Don't know if it holds, but if it does, they'll finally be what they keep getting hyped as.
