If you are Cowboys fan you are not happy about the loss today. Do you believe we will get better each game or we just a team stuck in the mud with little to no bright future?

Too early to tell.

I do wish our best players would step up to help the backups more than they seem to be able to do. That catch for Dez in the end zone is a tough catch, but it's one we've seen him make a hundred times. Williams getting out of bounds. Witten losing the ball in the sun. Those little things were the difference between winning and losing.

I think the Offense will get better as the season progresses. The defense, not so sure. It all depends what Lawrence and Gregory bring to the table once they come off suspension. Without pressure on the QB we're dead in the water on D.

im ok with the loss, because i dont believe winning in september gets you the SB. Giants alredy proved this. What irks me is the bad players still allowed on this team and a HC who keeps doing the stupid things. If Morris is your hot hand play him, he knows these teams, EE does not. Let him play. If Witten cant catch the 2nd ball his way throw in Swaim who Dak might like. Toss Willams for Butler because Butler and Dak were hooking up well. Its the simple things that Garrett can do to change the atmosphere, Again we dont get medals if Witten starts. Dunbar is not going to make a difference . Dont ignore the defense.

I think Dak and Zeke will both get better, but what we saw from D today will only get worse.......9-7 at best......

Just can't get to far behind the rest of the division.

If they can win 2-3 out of the first 6, they should be in the thick of it later.

Since Dallas is a young team we will improve as the season progresses. Biggest problem on defense is the pass rush. Dallas had the ball possession much more than the NY Giants which helped the dallas defense.

Don't forget Beasley. He was up and down in his play today too. The guy I was most impressed with was the guy I was most worried about.

watching kyle wilber rush was sad. Sad and preventable.

Watching the interior get manhandled on defense makes me angry. For three years we have been told the strength of this scheme is the interior and wolb. For the umpteenth time we watched the interior get whipped.

Marinelli is totally against size on defense and it shows up all the time. 245 lb ends and 280 lb dt is pretty poor way to go about it.

at some point you need guys who can hold up with power on defense. We don't have any power guys outside of crawford.

we played a team today that basically is telling you all game we can't really run and they still ran.

what happens when we play a balanced team with a power running game like gb, cincy, minnesota etc...

I need to go to bed. I hate this damn defense.

Defense gave up 1 TD in the second half. They are young and I see no reason they can't improve

I don't believe until I see it. This team is 1-13 without Romo , and I'm not counting on Romo either. We have huge flaws at LB and DE. Besides Lee we don't have any starting caliber LB, and our DE's are probably the worse in the league.

why not. It's not like the Cowboys play great at home. They were like 7-1 or 8-0 on the road in 2014. Must win Sunday for confidence in the coaches.

Just looked up Daks stats:69 qb rating

His rating at the half was 92.89

He needs a bounce back or its hello Mark Sanchez.

Dak and Zeke will get better without a doubt. Im not as mad about todays loss as a normal loss since the whole rookie QB/RB thing but the play calling was some beyond awful **** but thats expected with the coaching staff we have.

Theres no hope for that defense, they suck.

I think Dak lived up to expectations today. Zeke scored and redeemed himself a bit but if we are honest we all hoped/expected better production from him. Dez needs to earn his elite status and hang on to passes. Beasley and Witten should not be our leading receivers each week or we are in for a long season. Our defense played at the level I had hoped. We got a turnover! That's better than last year right there. All kidding aside. I do think the D is our biggest question mark. Can it get better than today? Is today as good as we can get? We are in a good spot schedule wise to hopefully pull out a couple of wins or so over the next two-three weeks. Maybe even a three game streak? Then we'll all be talking about turning the corner, albeit maybe too prematurely. I don't think this division is going to be out of reach. If we are really that mediocre and behind the rest with our rookies the Giants had no business winning by a point. The Commanders will prove themselves a fluke last year against Pittsburgh and next week we could easily be 1-1 and back in the thick of things with the Bears and Niners coming up.

We lost our first game of the season in 2014 and we looked far worse. So, it's not like there's no hope.

YR

They'll go as far as their running game. It was a non factor tonight but they didn't suddenly just suck at running they'll get theirs
