Who can be the Brooking of our offense?

Myabe Brooking doesnt call people out, or doesnt hold people accountable, just fires them up i dont know. But for some reason there are much less mistakes on the defensive side of the ball. Also i see Jenkins as someone who might flip on somebody or call them out behind closed doors for mistakes. We have many talented players on offense. The question is, which offensive player can step up and be a vocal leader to hold others accountable. To me Tony seems to be a reserved leader, respected but not outwardly critical. Barber is quiet but maybe behind the scenes he isnt. I know that we dont really know what goes on behind the scenes but it seems that things just slide without people really being held accountable. Im sure some will argue that it goes up to the coaches not holding them responsible but i think a vocal ,respected offensive player could go a long way. If you are wondering where this thought came from, i read this quote earlier and it got me thinking. I know he plays for the rams, but i respect this. They dont have the tools we have and he still has this mindset.

Said Rams RB Steven Jackson, "There are some things to be proud of in this game. But to be a true leader I can't be satisfied with a loss. I can't let the guys be satisfied with coming up short."

Maybe i'm off base. Let me know what ya think.

No one. Tony Romo is still trying to find his niche as a leader after 4 years. Witten is too blue-collar, he just clocks in and goes to work, then clocks out. Miles just went from an undrafted special teams player to the #1 WR, I don't think he's ready to embrace a leadership role yet either. Barber is Mr. Mysterious and doesn't talk to the media. Felix is barely over the age of 21, same with Martellus. None of the offensive linemen are vocal guys. Tashard is the only one but he barely gets playing time to have enough credibility in serving as a leader. Roy is just trying to survive out there and play well enough to not get hated on.

I didnt think about it but you have answered my question. He has been on this team, with these players, for a long time. He has performed at a high level and carried them. If anyone has the right to criticize besides Romo it is him. I would love it. Inoticed dez was right there too. And i think this kid is dead serious about this game.

Also, a good answer. He has to earn his stripes first but he did not seem happy in his post game interview. Unsatisfied. I like that. If they could both become vocal leaders they could singlehandedly transform this offense.

Dez Bryant is intense, the more comfortable he becomes in this offense, the more i think he'll become the leader of it. Happened in the 90s with Irvin also, i think Dez can be the same for us.

It should but that hasnt seemed to work yet in my opinion. I can see the frustration build in Romo but i think he still holds back and keeps it in.

Romo looked pissed last night in the presser. I think he did a great job of keeping that under control.

I did think of choice, he seems to already be somewhat of a leader. I just want someone behind the scenes to not accept excuses and get on peoples *** when they make errors so that in the future there will be less of them.
