Jets wanted a 1st round pick for Richardson.
The problem is Richardson does not seem like the right player and had character issues.

Is the any player that was a better match - perhaps the DE Wake? from the Dolphins but they were still in the hunt.
They are 6-4 now and definitely in the playoff picture.

Is there anyone else that could have been had?

If only we could have traded for RGIII.

You know, to put him in for the last snap of the Washington game to take a knee. Or fake take a knee and throw deep to Dez over Josh Norman and then follow it up with a double barrel solute to Dan Snyder up in his luxury box.

Basically, a season altering trade.

You can't trade for someone we all know that ruins team chemistry. ;)

Nobody. We are on a 10 game win streak, we only need ourselves and continue to build in the draft

We're going to have a tough time winning it all with this defense. If our pass rush doesn't improve and we don't start forcing more turnovers it will spell doom for us in the playoffs. We're putting a lot of pressure on our offense to put up points and it will catch up with us.

How much do you think Robert Nkemdiche has already hurt his value? He never sees the field, Arians has called him out publicly, and the Cardinals don't really need him THAT much with their dline being very good already. Not sure I want the guy because of the work ethic questions but would be an interesting guy to watch just based on his natural ability.

The club might have found a way to make peace with Greg Hardy. He was the best and only passrusher the club had. Too bad He and Garrett could not have found a way to make it work.

Hardy had to have been much worse then anyone reported if no team took a flier on an all pro pass rusher

Probably better off hanging onto our draft picks and roll with what we have, doubt 1 player would have helped our D a whole lot...have to wait until offseason to drastically improve the D.

Why do they keep working Gregory when he probably doesn't see the field until next December?

There were three idiots that were given a shot at redemption and squandered it. Hardy, Gregory, and McClain. If those guys 'got it', this team would be undefeated. And virtually a Super Bowl lock.

I think Wake is the player that made the most sense, but we can never know the true availability or asking price.

And the book isn't written yet on what the proper move might have been. If lack of pass rush ultimately costs this team a championship, there will rightfully be a lot of 'told ya so!' coming out.

Especially Hardy. He really kills me.

Me too. His inavailability creates the biggest weakness for this current team.

And the knucklehead went from earning $10 million plus a year to earning $0.00. And now he'll be used like a carnival attraction for some MMA promoter using him for a quick payday because people want to see him get his lights knocked out.

Stupid is as stupid does.

Joe Haden is Revis light, a shell of the player he used to be but a name people remember. Trading for him and his contract would've been a mistake.

There are reasons midseason trades are so rare. It's not like other sports - there are 16 games. Bring in a guy with 6-7 games left and by the team he fully learns your system what are you getting?
