1 sack and two tackles so far. He just doesn't look the part to me, though I did like the sack!

He hadn't too me either until recently.

He looks like he's getting more comfortable and confident out there and just playing.

Hopefully it continues.

I'm not a fan, but it sounds like the defensive coaches really like the guy. I'm glad to hear it. Hopefully, he continues to develop.

Yes, develop young players with upside, and say goodbye to Spencer and his 1 year bloated contract.

I haven't read that yet,,, where did you see it?

LOL really? Even after last game?

While 1 sack and 2 tackles for the year might be impressive to you, it just isn't for me, sorry. I could easily change my mind if things improve for him though,,,

It wasn't in the thread. I think it was something Broaddus mentioned in a Talking Cowboys session last week. I remembered it, only because it surprised me, because I haven't been impressed with him very much at all yet.

It doesn't sound like Chris Greenwood is getting a warm welcome from the board.

too bad: he should. Kid has ALOT of physical talent. I live a couple hrs. away from where he went to school. Albion is a small liberal arts school but he got a TON of love from NFL scouts. Long shot, but who knows.

I'm not talking about for the year. I'm talking about last game. I was just speaking on the fact you NOW say you haven't seen anything from him when he had the biggest game of his career just this past Sunday. As a backup second year pro i'm not really sure what you expect from the guy? Personally, i'm just looking for improvement. I wish it was easier for a 2nd year pro to have a position change and have a immediate impact but its not possible.

The negativity is because they have yet to see Greenwood. Raw but incredible upside. He will be the most athletic DB on the team.

And if you look at Selvie in comparison. There's a guy that had 3 sks in 3 years and bounced around the league and he's looking like a pretty solid player right now.

Well, if you'll check the thread topic you'll see that the subject is us losing a defensive end and what we're doing about our depth at that position, not what rocyaice thinks of Kyle Wilbur's performance in the last game and only the last game. :p

Hopefully we'll be saying God Bless the USA with Greenwood in there.

I think the Cowboys have to retain him on the regular roster for three weeks, right? That's about the same time they have to wait before they can activate Ratliff. So Greenwood has about a month to show the coaches what he's got that makes him worth keeping.

That or an injury to another cb forces the Cowboys to keep him longer

Didn't look like anything special in coverage IMO. Another "project" or another special teams specialist?

Great point. He's a great example and i'm sure his previous teams felt like he didn't have it and now probably regret not waiting for him to develop.

Oh I know what the original topic was about. Just asked you a question but it seems your stuck in your way so i'll just move on lol....I just hope the front office isn't as harsh of a critic as you are.
