I hear you brother Dak did everything he could in that game.

He knew what the game meant he ran the ball he used his legs he got hit spun in the air he improvised he overcame they dropped the ball on him again.

We need a heavy duty running back like Derrick Henry to finish off games like that.
McCarthy stopped running the ball on the drive before the last one and just let the defense pin its ears back and attack Dak while steel was being spun like a turnstile.
100% agreed brother! You even called it by stating Jerry should have traded for Derrick Henry. This loss falls on Jerry, the front office and the coaches for not coercing Jerry to bring in better help, plus failing to build a better Oline.

Isn't that the truth people don't even watch what really happened in the game they just automatically blame DAk
Brother, this is why I defend Dak. Yes, I call Dak out when he screws up and gets contract greedy, but them haters are just here like juveniles to blame and berate simply because they don't like Dak even though he is a darn good QB who has helped the team.

That was 1 second from the snap of the football before Dak was sacked. He didn't even have enough time to look at his receivers downfield.

You're saying Dak should have instead wasted that play, down and remaining seconds on the clock with no timeouts left just to throw the ball past the endzone just to make you happy? Time was running out, plus the Cowboys were running out of downs.
LOL, ball snapped at 27, his initially contact with Sweat is around 24-25 second mark (He doesn't start getting pulled down until the 24 second mark so to say he's sacked after just 1 second is a clear lie).

So yeah, he had time to just whip it away especially if he feels the pressure.

And what is your last paragraph? Yeah, Dak should have thrown the ball away in that spot. It's 1st down. He has three more downs and 23-24 seconds left from the 11 yard line. That's a great situation to still be in. To think that it's still not a good situation and Dak has to force himself to make a play there with 27 seconds left shows how disingenuous you are being.

Receivers took long to get set, plus the sideline took forever to call in a play. But, hey, let's blame Dak.
Boy you have excuses and delusions about every play. Everyone else sucks and as good as Dak played today he failed again, it’s ok to say the truth odds are one of these type games will go his when everyone else is playing better

This was weird. The hands to the face cleary created an advantage for the defensive player. Why would you pull the flag back?

This is startingt to smell like the hands to the face on Tolbert on the fumble recovery in the Rams game.
Hitting the face mask and immediately removing his hands is acceptable hands to the face didn’t actually happen don’t know why this is so hard

Dak couldn't even finish his 5 to 7 step drop and try to look downfield to find his receivers before he was sacked, but hey, let's just blame Dak and make up stories about how he could have thrown it away without it either being flagged or costing a down, plus time.

Wrong. That hands to the face jerked Gallup's face sideways while throwing him off his route.

See, now you are just lying.

He literally finishes his drop and you can see him bouncing on his feet as he settles (he does it 2-3 times), before he then tries to elude Sweat.

You trying to pass yourself off as being objective on Dak after this is easily one of the funniest things on this board.

Dak played great today. He made a critical mistake on that play and it really hurt the Cowboys chances of winning. That's it. That's just the reality of the situation. It's unfortunate because if Dallas scores there and wins, that's one of the best performances from Dak over the last couple of years.

PS - Costing a down plus time? What are you talking about? The fact he got sacked cost us a down anyway. And the time was already expired. If he throws the ball away, they still have 22-23 seconds left which is more than enough time from the 11 yard line.

Why don't you stop lying. Look! You're own video clip...

Dak drops back a 5 step dropback. As he is finishing his dropback, Tyron's edge rusher from the left is already on Dak, then followed a split second by Terrence's edge rusher from the right. Everyone can see it. Clear as day.

I'm with you I can be critical of Dak when he deserves it.

But I've watched enough football to know that man gave everything he had tonight and that's all I can ask from a player he put the team on his back he improvised he overcame but in the end you just can't overcome everything you need some time to throw.
And because we didn't address the power running game before the trade deadline teams now that dak will have to put on the cape and we will become one-dimensional.
The eagles unleash the dogs on us and we could not block them all.
We had a power runner maybe our quarterback wouldn't have had to be the guy to run for the two-point conversion.

He did his best and that's all I can ask

Did any really think we were gonna pull this off with the help of the officials and them spotting us 50 yards on the last drive. From the HC with that qb draw call to the QB with his normal trash play and moronic in game management. Lol, I don’t expect anything from those 2. Poor Micah has to deal with this trash for at least 6 more years.
i didn't see Dak playing as well as he did today; that caught me pleasantly surprised.
Today, the Cowboys lost as a team, not because of Dak; I can live with that. They all played well, but were just simply defeated by another good but not great team.
The Eagles aren't a great team, but they have enough playmakers that came up big when it mattered.
But the Cowboys were not beaten because Dak choked. He played the way he should have been playing for at least six of his seven years.
Mike McCarthy seems to have gotten Jason Garrett out of him. If so, the Cowboys can build on this.
But McCarthy seems to have finally got Dak to understand what he is out there for. It took too long, but this was the first game I have watched where Dak seemed to actually be aware of what he was trying to accomplish.
I was actually pleased with Dak's performance, as well as the rest of the team.
I do think Gallup needs to go, though.

Lol, you’re such a joke. It’s fans like you that are the reason we get stuck in purgatory. Fans like you allow Dak to be resigned and the HC to remain status quo. It’s disgusting. Dak will never ever win a Super Bowl. If he went to Washington I would never ever fear playing him which is how the entire league feels when playing us. What a joke you and the hc and qb are. Complete joke! Lol
Exactly! Doc has his moments. But to be in elite, Super Bowl, winning caliber quarterback, you have to win games like today. You can't take a sack when you're at the 5 yard line with time winding down in the game. That is inexcusable regardless of how ****** the pass protection is. I pounding that into Rumble head about having that internal clock. Dak doesn't have it. You cannot take a sack in the red zone. Ever.

It's amazing in these people's hate for dak they can't see that both edge rushers meet at the quarterback when he reaches the end of his drop

LOL. He literally stops his drop and bounces on his feet a couple of times before then trying to elude Sweat. To keep saying that he got hit just as he finished his drop is hilarious. To say he doesn't have enough time to just fire the ball away is wrong. He made a poor choice there and it cost us.

That's just the reality from any non-Dak homer poster.

He literally stops his drop and hops two-three times in the pocket before trying to run. To suggest that he had no time at all to throw the ball away is just misleading. Also, the DE on Smith's side falls down and is on the turf (and looks like he rolls over after Dak tries to move away from Sweat). So to say the two DEs met at Dak is a bit of a reach. That one DE isn't much of a factor at that point.

Now, if one wants to make the argument that McCarthy did him no favors by not ackowleding the struggles of Steele, especially the last 5-6 minutes where he got beat repeatedly, I can get behind that too. They went 5 wide there and in hindsight, after Steele gave up two sacks quickly jsut a few minutes before, maybe leaving a TE in there to at least chip and buy Dak another second would have likely helped.

The DE rushing on Tyron falls/gets shoved down and is one his back (you can see him roll around on the ground after Dak tries to move away from Sweat).

To act like the two DEs sandwiched Dak shows you desperate you are in trying to cover for Dak here.
