A question, if we can keep only one of Abram Elam, Gerald Sensabaugh or Anthony Spencer, who do we keep and why?

I'd probably go Elam, because he's more versatile than Sensabaugh and I think more necessary to the team than Spencer.

Keep Sensy.. i am not impressed with Elam and Spencer. Spencer looks like he is running half speed out there. I would focus on another stud OLB to help Ware and look for a ball hawking Free Safety. Sensy has been great this year.

Why would we cut Elam or Sensabaugh? Both are playing pretty well.

I believe they are both on one year deals, so they'll be free agents this offseason.

I think Elam stays. He's made a difference at the safety position, his penalty today not withstanding.

I think Spencer will wind up getting to much money to stay.

I say sign all 3. Who would we have to replace them. Spencer might be the easiest to replace via the draft but thats no sure thing.
Spencer might not be the best pass rusher but he is a solid SOLB. He had 8 tackles and 3 for a less yesterday with a few QB hits.
Butler looked awful vs the run, he has no clue how to have a open field tackle.
Elam and Sensabaugh have played very well,Sensy has been better than Elam but both solid. I would keep them over any one else we can get.
Looking at FAs all I see is Laron Laundry and Michael Griffen both will cost much more than either Elam or Sensy.

I say resign
Spencer(only if contract makes sense)
Sensy
Elam
Robinson
Fiammetta

then sign
OG Carl Nicks
3-4 DE Calais Campbell
NT Sione Pouha, Antonio Garay or Paul Soliai

if we do the above the draft
CB
Center
NT
slot/return WR

Cut Newman and keep the other 3 with the savings.

this
a FA that would come relatively cheap can play every bit as 'good' as newman has played this year

in a year where 'he is playing with a chip on his shoulder' and 'proving everyone wrong'

I would not resign Fiammetta, we've only had him healthy for a handful of games and that's always been a problem with him. The effect Fiammetta has had when he's actually been healthy should make finding a good FB a priority though

this.....we need another linebacker that is relentless. Spencer doesn't have a motor thats his problem. He has the physical abilities its just he is content with doing enough to get by.

I bet if we would of drafted a OLB for his spot in the 1st or 2nd round that and that only might light a fire under spencers butt, but then again idk.

Yes, but they will be available to return. They were still there when we signed them, no one else was going after them, so it seemed.

I think Coleman signed a 2 year deal, not sure, so we will have him.

We will be able to keep more than one, and my guess is we keep our safeties and let Spencer find work elsewhere.

OLB could be a need come draft time.

Keep Sensy, then Spencer, I havent been impressed with Elam at all. the problem is, we do not have his replacement on the roster. so we will have to resign him.

I like anthony spencer alot but victor butler seems to be getting it done alot more. At safety I see us keeping elam. sensebaugh is definitely going to be asking for alot considering how he is playing and I really like to see what church can do back there
