LOL.

Our offense sucks the life out of our opponents. Our defense would only need to get 2-3 stops during the game for us to win. Jones would play Gronk as well as anyone in the league. We would force Brady to dink and dunk. This is the best way to frustrate him.

We are in great shape to beat the Patriots. Score on our first two possessions, eat up a quarter and half and Brady would be pressing. By the 4th, Zeke would run them into the ground. We match up great with the Patriots. Bring it on.

Dream on.

The Pats are the team I least likely want to face in the super bowl, because Belichick is the greatest of all time at gameplanning, and their team's top players have been on that stage before too so have a leg up in that regard.

But honestly if the Cowboys get to the super bowl I'm just going to be thrilled no matter what.

I can't even think that far ahead; still worried about the lack of a consistent pass rush.

Yes. This weakness will be magnified when we play better teams with better QBs.
I am wondering how good teams like Raiders and New England who have balanced attacks will plan to exploit our D.

If Romo is playing, the Pats, Romo over Brady in the Super Bowl would solidify his spot in Canton... If Dak anyone will do.

Karma yikes. Focusing on this week's tough road opponent that steriod stole two Superbowls from us in the 70's.

I think it's OK to talk about the Super Bowl. We're in the "Who Dat?" phase as far as the NFC goes.

Can someone explain to me why you would click on this thread just to say it's too early to discuss this?

First of all: what? Why is it too early to discuss this? What does that mean? Do you think you will jinx something?

Secondly: the thread title was pretty clear in the content within. Do you also post in "who should start at qb threads"? Saying you don't care?

Help me understand you

I think it's not that we shouldn't talk about it, in a superstitous way since honestly our input has no impact on the team's focus.

It's really just a point that this is a tad early to be talking about the Super Bowl in all honesty.

With that said, the Cowboys have a very realistic shot to get there this year. I actually wouldn't mind getting the Patriots even if we were severe underdogs in the matchup because it would solidify that the Cowboys were the #1 team in the league. Any scenario where the Patriots got beaten before we got a chance at them would leave doubt in some minds IMO.

As long as we are one of the teams I'm happy. That's the only thing this team controls

Right now it's hard to see NE not getting to and winning a Super Bowl. Frankly I'm not sure we can beat them. I know that I sure as hell don't want to get to the Super Bowl and lose to Tom Brady. But beating him would be oh so sweet.
Sure would be a nice change to see the silver n black vs the silver n blue!

Anybody but NE. They're the only team that I think we'd lose to more often than not. In fact, with our pass rush I would worry about a blowout.

Yes, a team built around its defense would be preferred if we make it because it would be strength against strength.

I like our chances but there is a log road ahead of this team before talking SB.
