Havent really been reading into anything draft related...I know about major talent only, simply from watching college football. But I dont know who is good value at the 52 spot right now.

I do know I want us to draft a safety, or ILB. Preferably safety. We NEED a ballhawk. Or at least someone who can cover. Hamlin is nothing special.

I think I'd probably take D.J. Moore or Jasper Brinkley. D.J. Moore would really solidify our secondary for many years to come.

Any of the top S prospects(Chung is my fav if we stay @51). There are really only 2 legit NT prospects we can get @51 because Raji will be gone and those are Brace and Taylor and 51 is too early for Taylor at this point, so if i were tha Cowboys i'd target Brace. IMO Brace's stock will continue to rise among 3-4 teams. This is a really bad draft for NT prospects so if we are gonna get one it will have to be early as the entire draft only has 4 or 5 and IMO NT is our most pressing need. We can always keep Roy38 and or move Henry to S, but after Rat we have squat at NT. It's also become painfully obvious we can't draft OL worth a darn lately so a top OT/OG prospect would be welcome as well. A 3-4 team can never count out a LB and we will need to draft a couple, just haven't spent much time looking at them yet. I like Beckwith if he wasn't hurt so often. If we decide to keep Roy38 and Henry and move Henry to FS that will move CB to the top of the list again.

At pick 51 our guy is barely in the media guide book in January, our guy is on page two, looking at page one guys will only deepen your depression from this last season. I agree this is a lite year for the DT spot, not sure how successful we can be on the OL pick even if we had a first round slot. With this pick in the past we got Jacob Rogers, Anthony Fasano, Kevin Burnett, Tony Dixon if you can remember the hype they received prior to the draft our future draft guy should be in the same boat, that is as yet unidentified in the crowd of prospects to us fans. Last year was so strange with the Felix pick being focused on so early and accurately. Seems like the year we took Carpenter the hype was with him also, I am having trouble remembering. Help me if you remember similar years. Go Cowboys

If we stay in round 2, I think we'll be able to pick up a first round talent at ILB or SS this year.

Those are the two positions we may need starters at...the backups can come later. I certainly wouldn't spend our top pick on a QB.
