I was reading someone's post an came up with a interesting thought....who are the key players (one offensive player, one defensive player) for each team in the NFC East.

Basically, if this player was out of the game the team would struggle on that side of the their game.

Dallas- T. Glenn, R. Williams
New York- P. Burress, Strahan?
Washington- Portis, S.Taylor
Philadephia- McNabb, Kearse

Comments?

I would imagine Eli Manning over Burress..... Springs over Sean Taylor.... Owens over Glenn, Ware over Roy .... Don't think Kearse is that much of a key for Philly because they're pretty deep at the line. I would imagine somebody in their secondary that would make them not blitz as much...Sheldon Brown maybe ? Or Brian Dawkins....

Definetely Tiki on NJ
I might say Trotter for philly on D, they have depth on the line and secondary, dont have linebackers

For us, on defense, probably Newman IMO. Hes not even getting tested, hes got a lock on his side of the field

Dallas: Bledsoe and Ware. If Bledsoe plays well and Ware finally develops some consistency going after the QB we should be in great shape ....... "IF".

Giants: Manning - if he has matured the team will very be tough. The Philly game seems to indicate he has.

Philly: Defensive front. McNabb will be fine, but the D-front is what has the ability to put them over the top.

Skins: Portis and Brunell: These guys HAVE to produce for the Skins to have any chance.

id say its the QBs...hands down.

Lets look at Bledsoe, he plays bad, we lose. He plays good we win.
Brunell played crappy last night, they lose.
McNabb is what makes the Eagles offense go, when he stops they stop.
And Eli killed their team last year, if hes good this year they can fly. (plaxico catching every jump ball duck he throws doesnt hurt though)
