Who do you think (not want) we will draft in Rd 1?

Donald and Martin likely will be gone. Mayock was on radio and said he heard Martin could squeak into the Top 10 and that there's chatter the Rams will take him with their 2nd first rounder.

So assuming those two are gone what I expect is either a trade down or if Barr or Dix is there, that being the selection. I would be fine with any of the three options.

Wow. Can't say I would argue with it but they might have to trade up for that one.

They might end up doing that. Or, he might slip. A lot of differing opinions on him. I could see his draft going in a lot of different directions but I feel like Jerry has an itch for this kid. When that happens, you see things like the 2012 draft.

if jerry trades up to pick up J. Football, I'd have to seriously consider finding a new NFL team to support I think.....

There are not many poker players around here. Many want to panic and trade up.

Nobody in this draft outside of the top five is worth a trade up. This draft is chalk full of "good" players but very few elite players. I stand by my comment that Mack is the only person I would trade up for in this draft. I wouldn't even do it for Clowney.

I think Barr/Clinton Dix would be the choice at 16... If we trade down, your guess as good as mine.

Dont see Donald getting past the Bears

Not unless they trade out of the first. I would take Easley with two repaired knees before Kony.

The question is who I think is the most likely selection, not who you or I would take. I completely agree, I'd prefer Easley over Ealy... not an Ealy fan at all, just reading the tea leaves.

I see us trading back and then picking Timmy Jernigan. I suspect our scouts think Barr is too much of a boom or bust and doesn't play physical enough for their liking.

Most likely seems to be Calvin Pryor. We don't want Jernigan in round one and Lewan/Martin/Donald/Barr could all be gone.

No trades, my preferred order:

1) Lewan
2) Donald
3) Barr
4) Jernigan
5) Martin
6) Pryor

If the Vikings pass.......I like our chances.

Mike Zimmer had a guy similar in Micheal Johnson in Cincinnati that he was trying hard to get to Minnesota as a free agent...and failed.

I'll be shocked if Minnesota passes. Rumor is they love the idea of Mettenberger in the 2nd. Even if they have to trade up back into the 1st to get him...I can see that happening.

1/8. Barr
1/20ish...Zach Mettenberger QB LSU

I think the team will match severe need with opportunity and position itself for Anthony Barr in a trade up. He fits the Dallas Cowboys type - long, lean DE and RKG who's more athlete than football player at this point.

How high and what we give up will depend on whether Mack is off the board by Tampa's pick.
