Its speculated that Jerry wants to make a big splash and may move up to get CB from Ohio Jeffrey Okudah, as I would love to have him IMO it would cost way to much for us. I would rather stay pat.
In the first there will be a player that will fall to us and depending upon the Combine cause players will rise and fall.
Kristian Fulton CB LSU- Byron replacement
Yetur Gross-Matos DE Penn ST- Robert Quinn replacement
Javon Kinlaw DL SC Give us a big guy we have always wanted
Grant Delpit S LSU a saftey that we really need and an upgrade IMO
Trevon Diggs CB ALA see above.
Curtis Weaver DE Boise
TBH I think any of these players would be a good 1st round pick
Jerry could move up in the second but there should be someone there also.

Who do you think could be there for us in the first three rounds?

Too early to tell, we should get some clarity at the end of the month after the combine. After last years draft we really need to do better this year. If a safe first round talent falls to us we should take him kind of like when they took Martin. At the time it wasn't an exciting pick but people had him rated as the safest first round talent out of all of them. A couple years ago everyone thought derwin James was a top 10-12 guy and he fell quite a bit.

The big splash is someone’s attempt to get clicks and really doesn’t match what we’ve done the last few years
I think moving down if the option was there is more likely than moving up

Delpit
Fulton
Gross-Matos
Ruggs

I think Kinlaw and Epenesa will go top 15.

maybe the "splash" is taking Ruggs if he does fall to us.

DT Jordan Elliott,Mizzou would be a solid rd2 option if we dont get Kinlaw.
Raekwon Davis,Alabama could be there also.
Davon Hamilton,Ohio St could be a Rd3 option.

S Antoine Winfield,Minnesota and Ashtyn Davis,Cal could be rd2 options at S
Brandon Jones,Texas is a nuther.

CB AJ Terrell,Clemson is one I like and is probably a rd2 guy...maybe rd3.
Dane Jackson,Pitt and Damon Arnette,Ohio St are also solid.

DE Julian Okwara,Notre Dame...DE Jabari Zuniga,Florida...Khalid Kareem,Notre Dame...Jonathan Greenard,Florida...Jason Strowbridge,NC are all really good options at DE in 2nd or 3rd.

I think we draft Fulton.

Byron will be a big loss and Dallas will draft for need.

Without knowing who all is on the board I am not a fan of this pick but I think Dallas pigeon holes themselves into having to draft this guy.

Kinlaw will not be there. If he is than you run to the podium with his name on it and you don’t look back.

Free agency and the Combine will shake things up hugely between now and the end of April, but in general, one of those guys will be there. Aside from Weaver, I'd take any of them at 17 (I am aboard the YGM train).

Everyone but Kinlaw will be there IMO.

And I don't like any of those guys at 17 (other than Kinlaw), frankly.

I’m with you. If Kinlaw is there you race to the podium. IMO if we don’t go DL the next best option is WR. I’ve always been in the camp of keeping Jones and letting Cooper walk. Outside of WR this draft should be all about the defense.

I have a feeling we are going to be sitting there at 17 deciding between whether we should take one of the defensive backs or Ruggs at WR.

I suspect they'd go defensive back (probably CB) there, especially since Jones appears to be a long shot to come back.

I'd go Ruggs there, maybe McKinney........... but not Fulton or Delpit or Diggs and definitely not Henderson.

Who would u compare them to?
The WRs? I think that's pretty tough...

Jeudy - One of the most unique players at WR I can think of. He just doesn't move like anybody else. B/c he's a route runner, he's kind of a Diggs/Amari comp, but he's way better after the catch.
Lamb - D. Hopkins. Unreal play strength.
Ruggs - DeSean Jackson I guess, though I think he's more complete than Jackson ever was.
Reagor - Tyreek Hill.

To me, that's the top 4, and really the guys that should be in play at 17.

IMO there’s a good chance the best player available will be an OT or WR. I think there are 6-7 guys that could be top 10 picks in any given year.

Yes, that's what we would do. But will the FO if given the choice?

I will personally drive a truck load of dog poop and dump it at the Star if they move up for a freaking CB again.
