ok guys i got one for you, every year, a couple of good guys are cut or let go, who do you think will get cut from teams that are vets and might help us,

first guy i saw was randall godfrey, sure he is older, but he knows phillips system on defense, who else do you think we might be able to get, and help us toward the super bowl?

Honestly, looking at our roster, I don't think there will be a lot of room for june 1st cuts. Or at least not for as much as they would cost.

Im just talking about one or two veteran players, kinda like when chargers cut rodney harrison and new england cut their top safety,

theres not really any more july 1st cuts because they made a new rule where you can cut a player before july 1st and still have it count as a july 1st cut.. this way it still gives the veteran a chance to find a job...

in the least offensive way possible, this was your worst post that I have ever seen.

Thanks for stirring the conversation!

Godfrey is one of two veteran free agents I'd be targeting right now... he makes perfect sense, the Boys could use an ILB with some cover skills, and he seems to want to come back to Dallas...

The other veteran I'd be talking to is C/OG Kendyl Jacox, for a short term (two years) deal... if the Boys want to get bigger at guard, as I've read the last day or so, Jacox is a 325 pounder...

The Boys have plenty of cap room to sign both...

It will be interesting to see who is released it would be nice if Dallas could pick up a backup NT but I dont think there is going to be too may decent players cut in June this year. The way the CAP has been increasing more and more teams have room to manuever.

Arent you just a ball of sunshine?

So you don't believe in Romo and you hate our entire draft besides Spencer...

Anything else you would like to get off your chest?

I'm listening.

No belief in Romo... and I think Spencer was our only good pick... nothing else.

Do you like Bradie James as a starter?

Not really, do you?... I see you want to draft a WR in next year's draft... no faith in Owens or Glen?

I don't like Bradie at all... was going for some common ground lol.

I have plenty of faith in Owens but Glenn is finished after this year IMO.

I love our younger guys but I'm not sure if any of them can be our future #1.

So a new 1st round WR in 2008 can play behind TO for 1 , maybe 2 years and then step right in with Crayton, Hurd and Austin behind him.

Nice opinion..

Mine is that we need a number 1 and a number 2 AFTER Owens and Glenn Fall..

When will this "fall" happen in your opinion?

It almost sounds like you are doubting them both for THIS season.

If thats the case then i understand why you have zero hope in the Cowboys :laugh2:

If a BIG, STRONG, CHEAP NT comes available.....oh yea, TALENTED....then I would consider it.
