straight up?

Reggie Nelson...

I don't think he'll be available, but he's become my favourite option

Spencer, although I'd take Ginn, too.

And Meachem, too. He could be Ashley Lelie, but he could be great, too. Love his speed and explosiveness.

But really, there are several players I'd take. It doesn't matter as long as they turn out to be good-to-great players for us. :)

Anyone but Merriwether

Thanks...now we will draft Crosby the Kicker...and hos and I will be making a visit to your neck of the woods for payback. :p:

Far as my pick.

I am so up in the air right now.

Part of me says Lynch if he falls but I doubt that happens.

I don't like Merriweather for character things (ON the field stuff) but he is a heck of a player.

Meachem maybe.

Bowe Maybe

I admit that jarrett scares me because I thought Williams was going to be a stud and now am jaded because of it.

Spencer would be nice.

Just so many options and I just can't get a good bead on this years draft as far as who we are taking.

As long as we do not pick fat and lazy Branch, Stupid Nelson, or slow as molasses Jarrett I am good with whoever we pick.

if indeed we stay at #22.....barring any crazy unofrseen players falling...Brandon Meriweather is the player I believe fits out team the best. At the same time I also believe he is the best talent available too.

Nice post.

I sort of hope Lynch is there as well 'cause i think he can be special. I really like his ability to catch the ball. Although I hate to give up on JJ 'cause I think BP sortof turned him into the pile diver. And my son has a sweet JJ jersey.

I've been warming to Merriweather here in the last couple of weeks. He may actually be the best "centerfielder" type FS in this draft.

I really like Meachem and I don't think he's a one year wonder. He was injured early('04 - I think) and then Ainge was injured arter that. If you watch the videos from SI - the game last year against LSU the QB was Crompton who is from my High School. Cromp will be a good one but he was a redshirt frosh last year.

I like Bowe and his lasiks surgery and his willingness to block and go over the middle. Other than blazing speed not alot of faults.

JARRETT? I loved Mike Willliams as well and was almost relieved when he was picked ahead of us. That being said how can you argue with DJ's production and his level of competition. He's burned EVERYONE he has played.

Can't say enough about the possibilities of Spencer in Wade's D.

I'm just so excited that we are going to add a wonderful player or 2 or 3 to our team. In Ireland we trust.

That about sums it up for me. Although I could throw a few more names in I would be fine with.
I just dont know who we should take, I just hope whoever it is they give us a reason to be excited, and can be a potential Pro Bowl type player.

This is the first time I can ever remember feeling this way on Draft Day.

Revis, Nelson, Meachem, Staley, Timmons, Branch, Bowe, Spencer, Merriweather, Weddle, in that order

the players I have italicised are ones who could be there at 22, but most likely won't

Everybody has Blalock projected in the second round now Aardvark.

as long as he lands in Big D speedkilz88, I'll be one happy camper...

there's just no way to tell with this draft... I've seen him as high as Houston's 1st pick
